Hi! Do you have any advice to help me decide how old an ipad pro 12.9" I could get away with - purely to use for reading sheet music at gigs. I bought the next size down last year, but my eyesight is getting worse, and I can't see my music! I use Forscore - so I want the bigger screen purely for work (I also teach sax and clarinet so using a larger screen would be great in lessons too!) But I'm technologically clueless - I dont want something that glitches, or loses battery super quick, or takes a week to charge up. Would it be wiser to invest in something more recent than look for the cheapest most ancient 12.9 screen? I mention the pro only because I read some forscore/ipad info saying all ipad pros got ios16 update - but I could look at other types too (but the forscore app is only for apple products) Sorry, my quick question became a novel! Hoping you can help me narrow it down, cos I don't want to make an expensive mistake 🙏

Yes the 2017/18 iPad pro would definitely work for your needs here* when shopping though make sure the seller offers a proper refund policy as with most on Amazon since these are older you want to make sure the body is in good condition but also the battery. Since these are refurbished each is going to be different. Also, if you wanted to spend a tint bit more (about 600) you could the new remarkable tablet - benefits being a SUPER long battery life and it is made for reading and taking notes - definitely smt to check out.

@@ynvglxry My 11 is def used more , it's so much more portable and the screen is still very good , i have an m3 max 16 mbp but keep that for demanding stuff like youtube and emails :)

I do appreciate the style of your videos and your generell asthetic, but I sometimes feel like your points about a device don't make much sense. For example "It's been off for a few months, but it is still surprisingly fast" - I don't get how it being turned off affects its performance at all. I do get your point about it being "enough" for most people - devices nowadays offer much more performance than most people actually need on a day by day basis. And I agree with that. I just sometimes wish that the points you make are a little more concise, if that makes sense. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Ty! Feedback like yours means everything! I meant there that since it's summer (and I use it mostly for school) it's been off for a few weeks - yet on starting up apps load up fast. As opposed to the S9+, where on startup there's a long "initiating" then "optimizing all apps" processes that take a while. I should have made that clearer.

s9+ ... this IPAD PRO is a fantastic affordable option - I've seen some on ebay going for $299 even. The S9s are premium top-line tablets with premium price tags - specifically for Android, there is no greater tablet than the s9 range.

You don't need goodnotes or notability - you have samsung notes arguably even better since it saves PDFs of the document without losing any quality and can easily transfer it into notion to organize.
