They are not changing the battery, they are replacing whole unit. You basically get new iPad.

@@Jeh-van actually no, they really do just send you a whole new unit. They then refurb or breakdown your unit depending on condition to be used for another persons replacement. All components in any sort of worn shape is replaced. They've been doing this for almost a decade.

Wow im shocked i was missing a few small tools jsut to make sure i didnt scratch anything and now the tools is plastic just to make everything smoother and not only more time to handle since everything on the ipad is very small so this takes time to replace. Apple can really charge alot and if you want to make time just follow the steps. This is usually a hour or two depends on the day. Thank for the video its much worth the watch. 🤙

Hi Mate, great video as usual.. may I know which one is the battery connector? I assume my iPad pro is dead because of dead battery connector, it's not charging as well.. so, it might be either USB C port or unusable battery.. USB Power Meter is telling me that current is not supplying to the battery.

Thanks..for charging port issues, you can try with a different cable, adapter and wall socket too..If it is not detecting, probably the port is broken, but there are some instances even the battery problems too. But looking at your reply, i think it is the port, you can replace the port, but once the repair is done, do not seal the ipad, make sure the device works..if not you might need to check further.. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqHLinWLnpybb80

Is the Face-ID bounded to the Logicboard. For example i have two iPads, one with a Icloud lock and the other one with a broken Screen. Do i only have to change the Logicboard or do i have to take over the Face-Id Camera?

You can replace the iCloud Lock devices Screen to the broken screen device.

Almost, when you are lifting the screen, be gentle, just look for attached cables and then disconnect them ( after undoing screws & plate).

I have iPad Pro 2018 model. I got that in Dec 2019. Now it’s battery health is at 91%(469 cycles) with use of 5-6hr light to moderate load daily. How much time the battery can survive?

The battery depend on the usage and charging cycles..Lets say your battery health is 50% and still you can use it for 3-4 hours. Battery replacement depend on your requirement. But as device ages, you need to replace the battery to keep the device safe. ( ex - heating issues, etc)

It is so much harder than I thought. I expected just like the iPhones but... Seems like, you need to remove the all logic board before the replace new battery pack.

Everyone frustrated with apple battery replacement costs but I think here it's justified. Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, the packaging and integration of apple products is really quite a feat of engineering being able to squeeze so much into a confined space. Also, these batteries most of the time (YMMV) last a long time. I'm only finally considering getting my 2018 iPad pro battery replaced. Id rather just pay the 150 out of warranty cost than go thru this hell.

Well, there are good batteries. You need to check what is good in the market. There are many cheap ones with used battery cells, which will not last long. We make our battery line under Geardo; we always make sure that we use new genuine battery cells. So far, the feedback we are getting is excellent. Just do not fall for the price. Buy something good because apple is not selling batteries.

Hello. I would like to ask regarding the back of the cameras for the ipad pro 11 2020. Are their QR codes both etched? Because I just had it checked at a local electronic shop and was worrying if they changed some of the stuff inside. Apparently i’m not sure if he changed my camera. The QR code for the wide is etched the other one is not etched and is illuminating when struck by light. Please let me asap so i could go back and complain. Thank you. If you have any advice so I could know if the items were changed, let me know. 😔
