Adaptation and Diversification. Can start something on iPad and carry on desktop, or vice versa. Both serve their purpose. Can not really bring my desktop to a beach and draw.

How do you carry on to desktop?can you work on the SAME file like from a cloud storage?
@Dimapbs4 жыл бұрын
@@rceleo exactly, cloud storage. for me its easy, icloud on both devices. Upload on one, open on another device and so on.

@@Dimapbs I did try exporting as template in an iCloud folder then opened it on desktop and then saved it in the same place. Will I have two copies if I open it on my iPad now ? I can only make a NEW doc FROM template not just OPEN a template like I did on my iMac. I’m i missing something?
@Dimapbs4 жыл бұрын
@@rceleo I save it as a affinity project file (saved on ilocud folder), it syncs and than I take ipad and open that file from that icloud folder and continue. I do not have same files been created over and over. I use the same file.

I am currently just using my iPad Pro, though I do have a Razer Blade Pro 17, I have been just using my IPad Pro as my new of computing. The only reason I would find my self using the desktop is for more complex visual effect and 3D animation, but other than that the iPad Pro is capable of pretty much everything else. It’s just the learning curve, however since then I have added a mouse I still get that desktop experience 🙏🏾

I do a lot of photo editing and some illustration. My photo editing often requires lots of path clipping/masking. Currently I’m working on a 27” iMac with a 13” MacBook Pro as a mobile option. I just ordered a brand new 27” iMac since my current one is acting up. However, all my designer friends are saying iPad is the way to go. I’m hesitant because I do so much photo editing it seems I would be cramped in my body working at length on an iPad. I also prefer having that luxurious big screen while working on photos and design. What’s your thoughts? Can iPad Pro be a comfortable daily machine for photo editing or complex illustration?

Hi, i would be glad if you can help me, there’s something i would like to ask you. Right now, i have the budget to buy the new Ipad Pro M1 2021 and an Apple Pencil, and i have a PC with 1050 Ti, i7, 16 RAM, XP-Pen Display Tablet. Is it better if i just buy the ipad so i can work anywhere if im not productive at home, or should i just upgrade my PC and buy the newest xp-pen so it would work more smooth?
@jhon.vectorize3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dennis, if you are feeling like unproductive, somehow is because you are working too much and need to have a space to restore your creative energy, if your desktop are giving you all the needs, there is no need to upgrade, you can get the Ipad pro, if you have money for that, at least you will be experimenting a new media and device, like using procreate, or others apps available to it, currently I'm working more on desktop, since my ipad it's getting too much storage, this is a big problem for people that works professioanly, my ipad has only 64 gb, which is not very good for me.

I have AD for ipad and want to keep working in the same project on the desktop AffinityD , what is the best way to do this? Hello, could you please give me some advice? I have iPad which Apple Pencil is available, but it’s not iPad Pro. I will get a new MacBook air during this month. I’m thinking about whether I should get Affinity Designer for iPad or MacBook. I will make logo design with using Affinity Designer. Thank you and I’m looking forward to hearing from you!

for logo design I would use Desktop. it's better to control and have more precision, But it's always a personal preference. for things related to illustration more free hand, I'd get ipad but dude, both apps, are just 1 time purchase, if you have mac and ipad, why don't get both? :)
