My concern is that after the announcement is official and there's no chance of re-elect after the announcement, the courts will drag on for almost a year to resolve the issue.

The elections were a terrible mess. Still unclear to me, why certain polling stations were instructed to reopen days later, while others did no reopen. Even on voting day, some people were turned away, while others were still able to vote way after midnight. How can citizens be treated unequally in a democracy? How much respect is there for voters, who had to stand and wait in the hot sun for 8 or 10 hours?

In my opinion, they must successfully argue how people were still denied an opportunity even though voting continued for an extra 3 days (Thur, Fri, Sat). The bigger challenge is even though IPC may have the numbers in the southern part of the country, they can't overrun SWAPO supporters in the north in this particular election and that's where the mass population is concentrated, most likely in future elections. I do agree however the elections were a big mess, but SWAPO will still most likely win because they still have the number in their favour, unfortunately.
