The way you took back your own squat world record, making it look smooth in the process, is astounding. 10x bw is absolutely unreal!

Brett not only won the 83kg class, he also would have won the 93kg class by 10kg.

Correct, I should have specified that he could have won 93kg open by 10kg.

yup it’s crazy. but imagine if Haack competed in the 93. would’ve destroyed it.

That's because the current 93s in the IPF are weak as fuck. People like Jesse Norris are possible there but no one is even close to what he was 3 years ago.

If he would have jumped to the 93kg he would of gotten even more stronger from the extra calories to get to that class.

Brett pls make a come back. It is so silent around your yt and insta. The 83kg class needs you to make it exciting. You are one of the lifters that made me start to do powerlifting.

I love how you had a big smile on your face before your 3rd DL - you knew you were about to make history, but you also looked like you were genuinely having a fun time as a competitor regardless of the outcome. Echoing what thousands of other lifters have said, I am so happy as a fan to see you succeed with so much class and composure!!! All of your past challenges shaped you for the better and made into the great lifter you are today, the GOAT of the 83 kgs!

Congrats Brett. Well deserved. Finally you have had your super meet. Without your quad injury, there would have been an extra 10-15kg on your squat. I would love to see you compete in 93s in the next years. With your total, you would have won 93s anyway. Thats why I would like to see which weights you could push going up a class. 10x bodyweight in 93s maybe??

Hello I have a question, I’m 15 years old. Have been only seriously weight training for 4 months. And I can leg press 700 pounds for 2 reps, I can bench 115 pounds for 7 reps. And I can deadlift 330 pounds for one rep. Is that good for my age?
