Incredibly thorough video that doesn't leave out important details. As a tech who is trying to move into the more difficult repairs it is very refreshing to see content that shows the entire repair process from beginning to end. It's a lot like being there at the shop watching stuff get done and being able to learn directly from someone else's work. Thank you for making this video.

First off thank you. As you can probably guess that’s the whole point I made this channel. That being said sometimes I think I might be going too much in detail. What are your thoughts

Why you not use pre cut adhesive tabs

I usually do as it makes it that much easier for the next person. But if the customer is immediately trading in their device to their carrier I don’t see the point as double sided tape is a lot cheaper

Usually when a button doesn’t work it’s because the flex was damaged or torn somehow
@sharmaxop6 ай бұрын
@@simonkarlsson4654if ur power button flex is damaged or torn it will not work or there is another case that sometimes the power button flex connector is not properly fits in the motherboard. Or if ur power button is torn U will face couple of auto restarts problems or ur device will make panic reports of missing sensor mic2. But that issue will only fix when u install new power button flex cable ❤Other if u just remove the power button flex to prevent the device from rebooting but ur device still reboots until u changed the power button flex with new one❤ Bcoz this part is necessary for device if the mic 2 is missing then the device will go to panic situation and keep rebooting itself after 2-3 mins❤

A lot of the time the flash stops working when the rear camera fails. I’d start with replacing the rear camera I’d be happy to sell you one if your in the US, call or email me 7609634948 Spencer@mobileiphonerepairsd.com

Just so you know in your iphone 11 dissasembly you show worry over the flap attached to the WIFI Signal Flex Cable Internal Flex 821-02380-A. That part is just taped on there to hold in place, it is not a part of the actual piece so you would break nothing if it became detached. Excellent helpful video though thanks

I just swapped out my back glass/housing, and I was trying to be VERY careful not to mess anything up, but now my phone wont turn on, is there something that I should be checking? I already checked and re-did every single connector on the logic because I was thinking that I forgot to plug one in, but i got them all. I dont know what to try next. Any advice from anyone is greatly appreciated.

Try plugging it into a charger, I’ve had some before where thats the only way they respond
@repaironwheels2 жыл бұрын
If you do repairs semi often invest in a USB amp reader. It gives you an idea as to wether the device is pulling a charge. Great way to tell if the device is on but the screen doesn’t light up
@VashStarwind2 жыл бұрын
@@repaironwheels Yeah I tried plugging in the charger and even left it plugged in for about an hour and nothing. I will look into one of those, that may be very useful. Is the wireless charging coil critical to the phone turning on? Because I may have messed that up a bit. And also thanks for the reply.
@repaironwheels2 жыл бұрын
Wireless chargers aren’t. Something else you can try is to disconnect the ear soaker flex. Do you have any known good parts (screen, battery, charging port) you can install to see if those got damaged somehow
@VashStarwind2 жыл бұрын
@@repaironwheels Ok good to know. I did try disconnecting that flex, i saw on another video to try that, so I did that. The only extra part I have is a charging port. If one of those are bad, would that prevent the phone from turning on? I did put a multimeter to my battery, and its right at about 3.8 volts, so i dont think its that, unless i messed up the connector, but it does look alright, And I dont have another screen, but mine is in very good condition so i dont think its that either, unless the connector is messed up also. I feel like its something super simple that I just forgot to connect or screw or plug in, but cant find it for the life of me. Idk. Im gonna watch the vid again and make sure I got everything step by step. Once again, thanks for the help
