It’s so easy, I was thinking the same before but isn’t hard! now I buy broken iPhones and fix them and resell them for good profit margin.

You can buy a carbide bit or diamond scraper to break the glass more easily

But very good video and informational but it kind of just let me know that I don’t want to fix it or I want it fixed. I just don’t want to have to do all that but thank you.

Why can’t they just sell the glass already attached to the metal part as a one piece?
@jesseexline315 Жыл бұрын
They do it’s called a housing.

I am just wondering where you found a replacement back glass with the apple logo on it because the links you have in the description for back glass, none of them have the apple logo on them

Why was it necessary to remove ALL the components? Is it possible to replace glass without removing them...by using less heat or whatever?
@RealWorldReview10 ай бұрын
It's not. I don't do that every time, just did it to show people how to remove what they could accidentally melt. You can melt the cameras with a hair dryer, so be careful regardless of what heat you use

Changing
@RealWorldReview Жыл бұрын
Because I’d rather get questions about why I recommend that over people posting about accidentally melting things or tearing cables from the blade. At the very least remove the screen, battery, and cameras. Pros won’t be watching this video, so I got to assume that most people are changing the back glass for the first time

Not necessary fir even beginner

not necessary, U just need a laser machine and u doesnt even need to open the phone if u have that machine😂

Can you not just "peel" off the back glass without having to disassemble the whole entire guts of the phone? By the time that everything on the inside is taken off, it seems like the main process it just to remove the broken back glass. So what's the point of taking all the guts out first?
@RealWorldReview Жыл бұрын
What are you going to do if you add all that heat and your camera melts? Or the board starts to not boot up? Or the phone doesn’t charge after the repair? While you don’t have to remove EVERYTHING (I only remove the cameras, board and battery) it is recommended to remove the things that are costly to replace in the event that you break them when doing the repair. Clearly the goal is not to break them, but I bet you didn’t plan on breaking the back glass.

@kleeblatt845611 ай бұрын
You could actually just skip everything and heat up the phone with all its components in it. If you're gonna disassemble the entire iphone you might as well buy a new housing to transplant it in saving you the trouble of crunching all that glass away
@RealWorldReview11 ай бұрын
Just make sure to careful around the cameras, don't add too much heat near the speakers, and definitely be careful around the battery. Then make sure not to cut any of the cables, or puncture the battery.
@sharmaxop3 ай бұрын
damn u have done extra work that doesnot need u have disassemble probably everything that does not need and You have to just remove logic board, battery and faceid rest parts doesnot need to be removed for a back glass use a laser machine and u doesnt need to open the phone😂

Ah yes, telling people to buy a laser machine for one repair lol plus why use a laser, burning the glue makes your phone smell bad and puts lots of the ash into your phone.
@paipesspaipes6712 Жыл бұрын
u can use a laser machine man

If you want it to smell like burnt glue lol most people don’t have $1k+ to drop on fixing their phone lol not cost effective unless you have a laser

That’s why I tell you the speed lol 200% means 0.5, 400% means 0.25. I do that so the video is not an hour long and 20 minutes between speaking points lol
