Yes I do. I use it all the time on my holidays, small, easy to pack, carry and if you are on the shy side it has a very small profile. I'm happy with the video quality from such a small unit. Check out some of my other videos on the Osmo pocket if you want more samples, accessories, etc.

What's the audio recommendation for in-studio video taping? I want to use either one for recording short videos for my online course. I'm leaning towards the iPhone 11 now after your video just because it keeps my life simple, although I have both.

Hi Jennifer, If your in a studio, then you have no wind issue. Both will work very well. I do think you will get the best audio if your in a room that has sound proofing( EG. lots of curtains and carpeting, etc, anything to kill the echo) You can also greatly improve the audio of both by connecting an external microphone( like a lapel microphone or even a shotgun style) here is a link to a video I did with Iphone and shotgun style microphone. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3_McmhtfsqUjbc here is a link to another video of me using Iphone 11 with lapel microphone. kzbin.info/www/bejne/haHMpmRmbcZ5aMk Now that I got your head spinning :-) I honestly think in a small space with no echo, they both sound good. Try both, play it back and see for yourself, also have friends and family listen, see which they like best. Warning BAD audio can kill your video. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I think I might just be over thinking this. I got the Rode smartlav microphone for the iPhone and the adapter to use it with the DJI. So I guess I can now do it both ways! These are great videos.

There are a lot of options. Here is a few. You can use your Iphone 11(can even put it on a gimbal) You can get the Osmo pocket(small, lots of features, very steady video) Sony ZV 1(they call it the vlogging camera, this Monday I will do an unboxing of it, so check that video out.) It really depends on your needs and finances.

Thank you. I was using the ULANZI OP-1 Handheld Phone Holder Mobile Bracket Set, which for some reason is not on Amazon anymore. Honestly for video, I prefer the osmo pocket, better audio, wicked image stabilization, better video and D Cinelike (So I can color grade). Keep an eye out for this Mondays 19 Oct video, amazing in camera transitions, all done with the Osmo Pocket!

It would be kind of a weird comparison. The Osmo Pocket in D Cinelike would look very flat and the Iphone would be self color grading, sharpening, fixing lighting etc, The Iphone would look way better in comparison, But I will see if i can work it into a future video.

The image from the Iphone looks way more HDR, I wonder if that can be changed in the settings for the sake of the comparison or is it just the way it looks by default. On the other hand, the Osmo Pocket looks more contrasted.

When I do comparisons I let the default app make the decisions. I just set to auto and go. I tend not to play with exposure, white balance, contrast, etc as I can bias one over the other that way. I want to try to show each as the company intended, if that makes sense. Yes, I find the iphones if left to it's own, they do a lot of internal post processing.

The Iphone 11 is good, but it does tend to over saturate and is a little to warm toned for me. I usually prefer cooler tones. You can set your white balance which greatly helps. In this test i just let it do want it wanted.

phones are better than action cameras in dynamic range. because phones specialize in dynamic range and photos. but the osmo pocket would beat the iphone or any phone in low light video. especially when youre walking because the gimbal and wider aperture and bigger sensor.

Very confusing Listen Sir, I going to start channel and my content is interviewing and the kind of dare/challenges with stranger peoples but only in daylight. Confusing part: 1) which give me good battery timing around 2/3 hours? 2) which give me the best noise cancellation if i shooting from 5 meter distance from my device with clear voice Or i should use external mic for long distance and noise cancellation? 3) is their option of ultrawide angle lens in Dji osmo pocket? 4) can we easy filimg and edit from DJI pocket videos? 5) is their any negative point in DJI pocket like Video cutting, over heating, camera stop during filming, some time gimbal not working, gimbal shaking during shooting? 6 and last) if dji pocket gimbal not works, can we use its camera without gimbal performance?

1) osmo gives about 2hrs osmo 2 about 2hr 20min 2) always get better audio with external 3) yes, i even did a video on it and the osmo 2 can be purchased with it 4) Yes, just do your editing with video editing software 5) not that i have seen 6) not that I am aware of The DJI Osmo pocket is made as an action camera, not quite what you will be trying to do with it. There are a lot better cameras for what you want, like mirrorless Nikon, Sony, Canon, etc

iphone 11 is good for photography and potrait shots but the osmo pocket is good for videography, stabilisation, cinematic shots and audio.

Yes, you can edit the images in editing software to improve the image, BUT you can't fix the quality.

In short; I am a OSMO POCKET BLONDE. Can you please advise; do I have to down load any apps or software to get my OSMO Pocket going. I do not have the Osmo Pocket 2. I have the Osmo Pocket 1, but they are pretty close to each other. Check my channel for Osmo Pocket and you will find lots of videos on the Osmo Pocket that will help you. You do not necessarily need an App on your phone. You can use the Osmo Pocket without an App. Just use it as a stand alone unit. You can also attach the Osmo pocket to your phone to get all the benefits of the App. Hope this helps.

Can you please advise whether the dongle that fits the IPhone 11 can be purchased separately? I believe that I cannot down load the app unless I can fit the IPhone to the POCKET 2

@@Gordon_Highlander It should come with two adapters. Smartphone Adapter (Lightning), and Smartphone Adapter (USB-C). The iphone 11 needs the lighting one. Look through all your packaging to make sure you didn't miss it. You can still download the App, but just can't connect to the Osmo.
