Yup, got a great deal on a anew IPhone 12 mini I couldn't pass up & NOT disappointed at all! Not a huge portable gamer, only at home so this phone's battery life is more than sufficient. At bedtime I got about 17% left with moderate browsing & KZbin watching all day. Thanks for this video.

I have bought a 12 mini back in December and this being my first iPhone ever, there is no big issues I have with this phone. Not one being it the iPhone and neither for its size. It is the perfect size and the battery lasts a whole day easily. I would buy it again, the iPhone 12 is too large for me now.

He's definitely underplaying the mini. I saw a recent poll and more people wanted the mini than the pro. The battery needs charged daily, but it charges so fast it doesnt bother me. I never realized it was the charge time and not the battery life that always bothered me. I came from the XR and it took over an hour to get a decent charge. Im already use to the size and I will never go back.

I definitely agree with you! I currently have a iPhone XS Max, and as a woman, feel like the phone is 1) too large for my hands, and 2) too distracting (as far as how big the screens have become). I want to experience the same elements, in a smaller iPhone, without having to sacrifice anything, but the screen size, itself. I would love to use my phone with only one hand, and not feel like my heart is going to drop out of my chest.

I bought mine when it became available in uk. I have my 11 pro max as well but haven’t used it since so i am giving it to my brother. After using the mini the max feels like a brick. It actually helped me downsize in screen time on the phone and be more productive on tablet and pc instead of mindlessly scrolling on the phone. When proper battery cases become available will def buy one but even so it charges really fast. it’s sooooooo damn cute and it actually fits in my pockets. Love this tiny beast.

I’ve switched from an iPhone 6 to iPhone 12 mini just for it’s size . I can use it using a single hand to navigate around it and it’s easier to sit in my pocket. It’s definitely worth the buy and if I wanted to get a bigger phone I would’ve gotten the iPad 😉

Just switch to 12 mini and still getting used to a larger display, but the size is perfect for me! If you are thinking about switching from 6s I suggest that you should get 12 mini if you don't like large phones. but if you prefer to have phones with a bigger battery capacity, you can choose either 11 or 12

Love the mini. Sure the battery won’t last as long as the bigger iPhones but surprisingly it counteracts that by charging right back up so fast. I can be at 40% and plug in for 10-15min and be back up to around 90%

@@nolanshen2773 typically iPhones don’t get through the whole day without at least needing a partial recharge if you are a moderate user, also while fast charging is nice I would not use those 20 watt bricks for regular charging use. iPhones aren’t meant to handle large charging loads like some other phones brands. It’s probably no big deal to use the 20 watt charger every now and then but all the time? No do not do that it will ruin the battery. I’d find a happy medium and try a 10 watt charger instead the newer iPhones can handle that wattage and it’ll charge relatively quickly. I know a lot of people who use those Anker Nano charging bricks that have destroyed their batteries due to regular use.

I definitely think it’s a great device. The iPhone 5s design was my all time favorite iPhone design (a great size, shape, and form factor - with the edge to edge screen of the Mini is a killer package) but for me, the 12 is it because of battery life. My current iPhone 8 is draining like crazy. I need a phone with greater battery. If it had the same battery life (which I understand is difficult given its size) I would 100% be on the Mini train. My iPhone 12 arrives today, and after years of needing an upgrade, I am very happy to be getting the 12.

I absolutely LOVE my mini. It feels like my first iphone which as a little kid, had the square metal frame and small form factor. The 8plus was my next one but it was so big I was two-handing it and I have an ipad if I want a big mobile screen. So the mini is my phone now. It feels good in my pocket, it doesn't feel like the offbrand discount version of the newest with its completely updated guts, and I feel like it captures some of my childhood with its elegant glassy back and front, but with an even better screen stretch. This is honestly the perfect phone, the iphone of my dreams.

Amazing phone. Came from the OnePlus 7 Pro. This 12 mini is lag free, solid battery life. Definitely meets my needs. I did not miss 90hz screen because of how smooth iOS is already. If you are considering this jump from a bigger phone, I’d definitely give it a shot if you are wanting a smaller phone.

I'm glad someone brought up refresh rate. MacOS and iOS are so buttery smooth that it already looks better than 60hz. Would a 90-120hz iPhone look better? Of course, but the trade off isn't worth the extra drain on battery life unless you play a lot of games. As a light-to-moderate user this phone makes. I'm an android user and I love it but there's no arguing how smooth an iphone already looks and imho it doesn't need a higher refresh rate. Even if it did, I would set it to 60hz because battery is more important.

Last iPhone I had that was this small, was iPhone 5s, and in my opinion this was the best iPhone barn none. I just went ahead and purchased iPhone 12 mini yesterday, and I am absolutely in love with it, even though I already own an iPhone 12 pearl max, and a Samsung galaxy ultra S 21, but the mini, is my favorite phone, my go to phone, again and again.

I have the 12 mini and it has severed me well. It’s easy to hold and you can easily get used to the smaller size. If you are a heavy user you might have to worry about the battery life though.

The 12 mini basically takes the size of my 6s, and combines it with the screen of my mom's 7 plus. Yes, the battery isn't as good as my brothers XR, or my mom's 7 plus, but it's miles better than my 6s. I was debating between the larger 11 and the 12 mini and your review has pushed me to leaning heavily towards the 12 mini. I don't like big phones. When I hold my brothers phone, I always feel I'm going to drop it. With my 6s, I never have any issues with holding it. I bought the mini about a week ago, coming from the 11 pro max. I keep trying to find reasons to return the mini but I’m honestly really enjoying it and now when I hold the max it feels so uncomfortable. The battery is okay. I use my phone a lot and for the most part I can work with it but I make sure to have a charger with me and if I need some juice, it charges up really quickly so it’s not really an issue.

@@binitoooo I haven’t charged it to 100% besides when I charge it over night. But as an example, I had 50% yesterday and charged it up a little before work and in about 20 minutes it was at 75% and that was just with a regular non fast charger.

I got the 12 mini for 3 reasons. 1. Highest Dpi(sharpest screen) 2. Same SoC and features I care about as the larger models meaning 2-3 years down the road, the Mini will have lesser load on it since it had less pixels to push overall 3. Most comfortable.

I upgraded from a iPhone 7 Plus. Main reason - screen size of the 12 mini was almost the same but in a much smaller package that fits into pockets much better than the bigger phones. I've been very happy with it. And if you use a USB C fast charger, recharge time is so fast, it is not an issue (for me anyway).

This halloween I drunkenly dropped my 6s and it lost a chunk of its screen to the point I can see its innards. Finally decided to upgrade and thought about the 13 but they were sold out everywhere. I didn't want to deal with a payment plan, so I checked online. Verizon had a sale going on for the mini and I got it for all of $650 as an upgrade. My 12mini arrives today and I'm so excited! I want to buy this phone when Apple releases this years iPhones, but I am hesitant because I’ll get used to small form factor and then have to update to a bigger size later on because there most likely won’t be another mini iteration.

I have the I phone 12 mini in purple battery and performance is great 24 hrs before I need to charge it again I ❤️ this phone and it fits in my pocket I prefer smaller phones I had the XR and. 7 plus in the past I hope Apple keeps making smaller phones in the future thanks for sharing

For me, it's the size that tempts me most!! I love the squared edges and have been an iPhone 4, 4s, SE (Gen 1) adopter, so this seems like such a natural progression for me, although even with the price drop it still seems fairly on the pricey side..! I also use the phone more like a phone and less like a full-blown 24/7 media centre, so I think I'll be alright on the battery front :P For me, the real question is... Black or White??

Thank you for the post. Before the mini release, I had contemplated upgrading to an SE 2. After the release of the 12 mini. I was sold. My hands are average in length, so I Love the smaller form factor.

I bought this phone. Got it last Saturday. I’m sending it back later today. Had problems with the reception on my hand set. Couldn’t get beyond 2 bars and I live in the town centre. I’m contemplating getting a replacement handset or using the money to get an apple magic keyboard for my iPad Air 4, a Magic Mouse and an ipencil. Since I can probably get all of that for the money the phone would of cost.

I absolutely LOVE iPhone 12 mini, been using it for a month now. I've been an Android user since 2011 and decided that I need to try iPhone for once. Ended up picking the 12 mini bcs it's the cheapest of the 12 lineup. Best decision I've ever made and no regret whatsoever. The battery is not even that bad as many people say.

Charged my iphone 12 mini @ 6 am in the morning and using it for 1 hour 15 min battery at present is 89 % which is surprising compared to previous builds

Hey "JSL Rev". Thanks for sharing. The jacket didn't sound that much. I heard you perfectly fine. Personally i never have had a iPhone-phone, but considering of buying one. Only because finally someone made a small phone again like the 12 mini, and iPhone did it well indeed. My Samsung has a 5.8" screen and overall the phone feels way to big for me. I like to be able to navigate the whole phone with one hand if i have to. If i would buy any iPhone, the 12 mini would be the one for me. I don't play games nor watch movies on phones. Just basic standard things like text, calls, use the net for important stuff and so on. This phone feels absolutely wonderful in my hand, i nice snug fit. And the only reason i haven't bought it yet is the price, i think it's still way-way to high for a simple phone and I'm waiting for the price to go down, allot. (Too much money for a simple phone). Two things bug me with an iPhone (so far), it does not have an external hard drive, i don't like that it has to be plugged into something that starts charging the battery. (This shortens the lifespan of a battery when charging the battery even if it has electricity left in it). Second, it's missing a 3.5" headphone input. I'm forced to buy a "special" bundle to be able to connect my headphones is a smart move to make more money. So far, that's about it. Looking forward for the functions and how it feels to convert from Android to a iPhone. Can iPhone win my heart for the rest of my life, or will i go back to Android again? We'll see, time will tell.

As an iPhone SE user I think price is a big issue. Plenty of moderate users who like a small form factor will choose between SE and Mini. Over here in the Netherlands the Mini is EUR 812 and the SE is EUR 492. EUR 320 difference is a lot of money especially if you’re not a power user.

The iPhone 12 mini is the phone I wanted when I replaced my old SE for the 2nd generation SE. I am having a hard time justifying getting the mini am my SE2 performs so well. I love smaller phones. Unfortunately the mini came out about 6 months after my SE2 purchase.

I'm still using an iPhone 6+ so I'm always watching curiously as new phones come out. I still haven't had any reason to upgrade. I'm not a heavy user and my battery has recently been replaced, so it still…works. That said, I'd be tempted by this one if I had to buy right now.

Trust me, don't worry about that, I bought the mini about a month ago thinking the battery life would suck but it's honestly really great, yeah it's true you gotta charge it twice a day but it charges super fast so the battery life of the phone neevr bothered me once, if you're planning on getting it, trust me don't let the battery life hold you back

Im an android user but i had a 5s about 2 years ago, as i thought about changing but the battery was so awful. Charge it, then all i thought about was charging it again as it would not last.

The size factor is so comfortable on the 12 Mini one-handed & in-pocket, and it just gets better with the Apple wallet added on. I use it essentially as an intermediate device when I don't have access to my iPad Pro 12.9 or MBA. For battery life, I've taken the time to go through all the settings, deciding which apps can run in the background, have access to location, and I've limited to 4G. I've had 9 hours of screen on time on one charge which is more than enough - without ever activating battery saving mode.
