I have the iPhone 13 mini on "Dark Mode" and 50% brightness. It lasts all day for me with no problems. Although, I don't use 5g or film videos or take photos that often (maybe like once a week). Sometimes I play games on it for like 30 mins. So if you are a light user it will definitely last all day on these settings. The reason why I don't like the iPhone 13 Pro is its size. Its way too big to hold and weighs a ton in your pocket. Hope this helps.

wait. dark mode does add battery life? i thought its the low power mode only.. btw i have iphone 13 mini as well. and my max battery use is like 6 hours and half. thats like scrolling through social media and watching youtube videos. no games at all. always on low power mode and low brightness as much as possible.

Ay great video man. People would buy this phone for the size and the only reason they bought it, is for the size and i think that would overpower the battery life. Most people wouldn’t mind charging it for 30 min during work so the 13 mini is just a better phone overall for them especially because of its perfect compact size.

I got the iPhone 13 mini last month. I usually charge it up to 79% every morning (around 7am) because I don't want the lithium battery to work on its full capacity. I go to the office and use it few times for calls, WhatsApp messages, Spotify and other apps. I end up my day around 10pm with almost 20-30%, so this guy is pretty awesome for me! I love it!

Cool video! And humbling about the battery. That said, I dont have a problem with my iphone mini battery thus far. Aside from taking videos and editing/rendering in splice which tanks the battery. That being said, my day to day use does include barely using it when at the office and charging when in the car and using apple car play. The mini looks like it isnt for power users tho.

Hi, interesting video. I’ve had my Blue Mini for a week and have used something Apple provides to extend battery life, it’s called Low Power in the battery setting. I'm not a power user but even with moderate usage, I can get all day battery life without the need of a battery pack or charging through the day. Whatever it turns off or diminishes, it’s not enough to prevent having a useable phone. It’s now 1133 (Texas time) and I have 63% battery remaining. If you need those functions, then simply turn it off and back to normal. This might have helped on the 12 Mini but I doubt anyone thought about using this ability. The Low Power function gives any iPhone 'legs' but especially the Mini!

Great video, definitely more balanced than the first. I think people should know that 5G is always going to kill the battery fast. I think it’s also fair to say if you’re getting a 13 Mini use 4G (I do) and you’re sound.

I even use "low data mode" in the celluar settings & seem to save some percentage there. If you're a low power user & aren't using GPS to travel often or don't mind slightly slower data speeds than I'd use that setting as well. Have noticed while using I've lost 12-15% of battery for 1hr of youtube. Not bad for somebody who was confortable using a 2016 SE up until couple months ago.

Dude, I use my *gorgeous* [and *FREE* ] iPhone 13 mini ('midnight' color, of course) for hours and hours and hours every day, including 5G (sub6 and mmWave) and my battery doesn't drain like *that* . Strange indeed. Free because US-based carrier 'Verizon' is literally giving them away for simply adding a new line to someone's already existing "family plan". *EXCELLENT* value for money. Nice videos by the way. You've got a very talented eye for making great videos!

Everyone’s usage differs. I’m kind of a heavy user, but we are not the same and that’s where your can decide whether or not to pick up the mini. I use my phone on Auto brightness, almost everytime I have a wifi around me and sometimes 4G. Will not use 5G anytime soon as it’s not efficient. But still a heavy user like you, spend a lot on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and some KZbin videos and sometimes 1 or 2 pictures. And that’s it. I’ll get better SOT than you got, Shevon. It differs from everyone. We have to choose wisely. I prefer the mini because I can’t just stand the weight of the Pro series. Especially the Pro Max is so heavy to the point where it makes me uncomfortable. The design is good and looks amazing, but I won’t compromise it for the battery. It’s too heavy.

It must be that 5g or something. I'm on DAY 2 with my mini on 58% right now. I took it off the charger YESTERDAY at 4 am. I'm on a Cricket "5g" plan. It doesn't use 5g all the time though. In settings under cellular its set to 5g Auto. Yesterday I had 3 hrs screen on time. Also, I'm on wifi a lot so I'm sure that makes a huge difference. If I'm not on wifi and I'm out and about most of the day I still end the day with 50%. I'm sure if I lived in a city with fast 5g all around it would drain much faster.

Got the 13 mini in 2023, battery life is great! It can last me till 10pm and got about 20% left without charging it. Usage wise, mainly with KZbin, FB, Whatsapp, Chat. With the latest iOS updates, it imrproved battery usage and more efficient. I have wireless chargers home and work, and like ad-hoc charge to 80-90% so 13 mini battery life is not a problem for me.

I LOVE my mini. If you are on the go a lot on it all the time then maybe it’s not for you. I don’t think I could ever go back thu to a big phone. I’d get a million meg safe portable batteries before I ever did that!
