Yes it is different from US Version. US version support e-sim and extra (5G MM wave) and HK version support dual physical sim and all functions like 5G but not (mm wave), FaceTime video/audio and wifi calling all are working. In chinese version it also support dual physical sim but not support wifi calling and FaceTime audio call.I always prefer HK version because it is factory unlocked and supports two physical sims. One of the best version

Hello, I have the same phone, iPhone 13 Pro Dual SIM from HK, but i was trying to activate eSIM from a mobile network operator online which you buy eSIM data plan, however, while trying to follow the instructions, i cant find on the phone the setting/option of "Add Data / Cellular Plan" or "Mobile Settings" - Now I have 2 SIMS installed but none of their carriers operators support eSIM, is that why I cant see those options? does this phone support eSIM IF the telecom operator company supports it?

I think it would have been beneficial to say that at the start of the video that only iPhones manufactured in China, Hong Kong and Macau can take 2 physical sims. It seems most other iPhones are 1 Nano sim and 1 eSim.

It's the Hong Kong version - in other country official may have 1 sim physical like on 12 iphone. Could you show how was improved caller for 2 sim cards? for example 2 buttons call for 2 sim and in list of phone numbers in history info from which sim card call was received?

yeah, if you have the SIM+eSIM version, and the esim is your current number, you can use the free physical slot for another card.

I have 4 blank dots under my signal strength and I cannot send text messages anymore. Doing what I did made Both my primary and secondary numbers the same and it’s tripping out my messages so far that I’ve noticed.

yes, if you have the dual sim version (HK or China dual sim version). the nice thing about dual sims is you don't have to swap while traveling and can keep your foreign number on to receive incoming calls while you're in the other country.

check if the model number says "A2644" that should be the hong kong / china / macau model with dual physical sims. all others are only able to do one physical sim and an e-sim.

I think the Hong Kong version of the iPhone 13 pro model (the official iPhones sold in Hong Kong) has a psychical dual sim slot. Where as the US and UK versions from what I know only have 1 psychical sim slot

I have Pro 13 in US. You can use 1 e-sim and 1 physical sim card. I currently have a physical sim card and there is an option in settings to convert to e-sim. The slot will then be free to use a sim card from another country.

It shows nonsense, it cannot work with such an adapter because there are no additional contacts inside for a second SIM card, it is broken. Unless it's a refurbished phone.
