I’m not referring to the specific duration, just the relative duration between 13mini, 13, 13pro, and 13 pro max. Most have their battery duration test results in that order with the closest gap being the 13 pro slightly besting the 13.

I really like your battery tests. Unlike some of those "big guys" like WhosetheBoss, you're using the touchscreen a lot - as a real person would do. This has HUGE impact because the touchscreen itself drains power too, not just the screen itself. Also huge respect for playing games on 3 devices at the same time for hours 😅

What it comes down to is the 13 pro has a battery size of 3,095mah and the iphone 13 has battery size of 3,227mah so the battery will last a little longer than the 13 pro battery

If you don’t prefer the mega size of 13 Pro Max, you should pick the regular 13 over the 13 Pro for battery purposes I guess. On the other hand if you want the 120 Hz and added camera capabilities then 13 Pro seems the right choice. If you want them all and don’t care about the bulkiness, go for the 13 Pro Max. There’s a phone for every personal decision 🤷🏼‍♂️. I think this is the summary of the video.

@@Rcalero nah it’s not really. the 120hz is on when you swipe then goes back down when you stop moving the device most of the battery drainage comes from the screen, iPhone 13 pro screen is brighter 1000 nits vs 800 nits iPhone 13. Put a power hungry screen plus with that same battery size gives you less screen on time.

13 Mini is a treasure for those wanting to buy a smaller phone. 8hrs screen on time is more than enough. 13 is probably the best for me size wise. That battery life is just amazing! Im sorry but i have to say that this test isnt that accurate. The brightness has to be exactly the same cuz the 13 should die befor the pro and if you look closely you can see that the brightness on the pro is maybe 3-5% brighter and thats the problem in this test. But still ist is a good test and this should only be a constructive criticism

It gives you 8hrs screen on time, real word let’s take it 7hrs screen on which would be good enough battery life for you, but if you don’t play games go for the mini it can give you almost 10 hrs screen on. Go starlight.

While there is nothing wrong with your video, and I do find value in it, I believe we need as a community of tech fans to establish some standard battery test protocol. Your iPhone mini ranked 8:06hrs while I’ve send KZbinrs getting 3:30hrs (50% different). There are many different variable from screen brightness, to mobile connectivity, room temperature, app used etc. Again, I have no complaints whatsoever toward this channel, every channel does it own kind of battery test, but I think we can benefit from a more unified test. *I consider the iPhone 13 mini, 8hrs is enough for me but 3.5hrs isn’t.

@@Ummmmmidk it is not because of the 120hz. All of the other battery comparisons, (including aruns) used 120hz in their comparisons. The 120 hz screen is actually a bit more energy efficient due to the fact that it throttles down to 10hz during non intensive activities.
