A15 is a little bit like M1 chip. Power + Battery efficiency. iPhone 13 Pro and Max can compete with S23 and Android which came or will come in 2023 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. 8 Gen 2 is a great move from Qualcomm. That's what we want.

The snapdragon 8 gen 2 chip arguably saved Android, more importantly, Samsung. I think the gap between Apple and Samsung is relatively thin.

We shall see when the iPhone 15 PM arrives, the natural rival to the S23. This video shows that a 1.5-year-old iphone 13PM held its own against the latest and greatest from Samsung. I wonder how the S22 would compete versus the iPhone 15PM if we are to apply the same test in reverse? Though as you say, the fact that Qualcomm ditched the Samsung-made nodes and went with TSMC makes the S23 line efficient and performant versus the 14 Pro Max ( a 13PM+ in all but name). As for saving Samsung, the loss of the Qualcomm contract meant Samsung total profits fell 95% in Q1/2023! But saved Android for sure. Hopefully we never see a Samsung Fab Snapdragon SD8 ever again.

​@@andyH_England 15PM will actually compete with the Galaxy S24 series, the launch time between them is much shorter than what is launched at the beginning of the year by Samsung, the most correct thing is to compare it with the shortest possible launch time, at the same year you have to wait half a year to launch a new iPhone just because it is released that same year

How do you marry up that the Fold5 with an SD8G2 will compete with the iPhone 15PM, but the S23U with the same SD8G2 competes with the 2022 iphone 14PM? That seems very confusing and flawed logic. The standard for comparisons has always been products launched in the same year. For example, Intel -v- AMD -v- Apple Silicon, cars, best selling songs, etc. No, the SD8G2 is a 2023 chip, and the A17 is also a 2023 chip. History will say that the S23 was launched the same year as the iPhone 15Pros, and it is only Samsung that decides when to release, and they release early due to their close association with Qualcomm. For pure marketing and PR. Samsung in the early days launched in June but launched earlier and earlier for fiscal reasons. Apple has stayed the same. I look forward to the 3nm iPhone 15PM. The S25 may get 3nm in 2025, though I hear that they will switch to Exynos by then.

People will scroll fast if they want to get to the bottom of a long page or skip the initial few contents. Its completely ridiculous to scroll until your finger nail falls off to get to the bottom of a long page. It makes complete sense to adjust scroll speed like android based on how fast I scroll.

3:26 Play all of these on 0.25x speed, you can see that iphone is kinda pre loading the application before whole animation of opening it plays out 3:29 same with other things 4:20 also how much can samsung still lag because of optimisation and this is just in few seconds of the vid 4:45 lag on the samsung, basically one ui is still toyish in comparison with animation, sorry but true

Another thing i think that delay a bit the Android phones when they are opening games for example is that they have to launch the Google play games app and the iPhone doesnt really do that. 6:48 and also on Androids there is use to be more adds and all that and the can delay a bit the proccess, and besides that i do think that devolpers optimize some apps better in iPhone's than androids. And viceversa.
