IOS is nice, but it's not this magic happy place that Apple customers say that it is. It's no wonder why apple only compares it's new phones to it's old phones.

Well actually the app opening time has nothing to do with performance, this is a common misconception. The app opening time solely relies on the time taken for the splash screen to show, which in the end depends on how long animations are set to in the device. OnePlus has shorter animation hence giving you the illusion of faster opening apps.

not sure if it's just me but personally although the iphone requires an additional step to swipe up to get to the home screen, I get to see notifications before launching the home screen which in a way is convenient for me? As an apple watch user there's not much inconvenience for me to unlock my phone with my watch so yeah having touch ID is always a bonus ✌🏻

It's weird. I have a Onplus8 pro and an iPhone 13 pro max, and side by side there's zero performance difference between the two. Video rendering is the only time there's any sort of difference between the two in terms of everyday speed. iPhone's are a beast in benchmarks but in day to day use my 1.5 year old OP phone feels just as fast. Either way both of these are great phones. I used to wonder if IOS was really better than Android and now that I've been using this phone for a few weeks I can without any doubt say no. Android and IOS are finally equals. IOS with a new iPhone does some things better, and Android on a new flagship does other things better. It's basically BMW vs Mercedes, just more reliable.

Im using OnePlus 7T Pro and it's still a beast. No phone has improved that much for me to make the switch. It's still snappy and reliable. Only let down by the old cameras. But the pop up camera is very cool and something I wish they continued with.

Just because the andriod opens apps faster doesnt means its more powerful. You need to run these phones under more demanding tasks like gaming and then you will really see the true performance. Only issue with one plus in the states is the carrier limitations. My carrier won’t support them and I’m not gonna use tmobiles garbage towers to just use a brand of phone. Hopefully they’ll get more support on networks. Whenever I talk to a Verizon rep these phones have nothing but issues on their towers.

its the worst, when a OEM has 120hz phone but some apps like youtube run 60hz, it breaks the experience, and its not a compatability issue, because i have a razer phone that runs every single app 120hz and moto edge that runs every app 90hz, then you have oppo where youtube is scrolling a janky 60hz, going from 120 to 60 is jarring, downloaded youtube vanced and that runs 120hz, its not compatability, its OEMs blacklisting certain apps im sure
