Love my 13 Pro Max. Definitely couldn’t go down to the smaller screen now. I’m on day 2 of no charging and I’ve been to the gym twice as well as normal use. I’m now on 22% and it hasn’t been charged since 10:20am on Saturday!

It’s best to plug it in whenever you can, for anything with a lithium battery. Hope the battery last longer versus letting it drain that much even though you can. Obviously the Max should take longer to degrade and the smaller phones since it has a bigger battery to begin with which is a nice benefit

For me, handling large phones like the pro max or s22 ultra only become an issue depending on the size of the case that I put on it. Since I use thinner cases, the added bulk is minimal. I used to prefer the larger, more rugged cases because they also included a kickstand most of the time, but once magsafe and it's accessories were introduced, I can't see myself using those type of cases anymore. Weight in the pocket is the only real issue now.

I got the 13 pro from the Verizon store on launch day. There were only a few people in line. I got the 13 pro because when I held the 12 pro max it felt way too big and heavy like a brick compared to the previous max iPhones. I wanted it originally but it just feels comically huge and hard to hold with one hand

Upgrading from a 12 Mini to the 13 Pro was perfect for me. I really liked my Mini, but the camera (especially the macro capabilities) drew me in, the ProMotion display sealed the deal, and the battery life is just a crazy good bonus! iPhone 14 Pro will have to be spectacular in order to pry this out of my pocket.

I upgraded to a 13 pro from a 12 pro for the battery. Was pleasantly surprised with the 120hz display. I noticed difference immediately. I regret the 12 pro upgrade from the 11 pro midnight green. Loved that color. But Im loving this sierra blue. I’ll be keeping this 13 pro for years to come.

I was on the 11 pro max which at times I had felt was just too big, although yes the battery was awesome. I have gone for the 13 Pro this time around and I have to say it was bang on the right decision. With the 13 pro max being just a tad bigger than the 11 PM I decided it was a no brainer to try the 13 pro. I have to say its made tons of difference as its just feels like the perfect size and battery has not been an issue. And the camera is just ridiculous - Awesome

I have got 11 pro max and I think just like you. I tested the new Pros in person and I'm leaning towards the 13 Pro, as it's battery is now solid, and 11 pro max, despite being round and smaller than 13 pro max, was too much at times, and a bit heavy.

I also upgraded from a 11 pro max to the standard sized 12 pro for exactly the same reasons. It’s weird actually that some people in Apple groups are still implying that the 13 pro is the poor relation of the max. Don’t they realise that it’s just a fraction more? I got the top storage option in a phone size that I’ve always wanted but didn’t get because the max always seemed to have better features. Now that the camera and features are exactly the same I can finally have my little power brick lol, and because it’s easier to hold one handed I just got Apple carne and am going caseless which feels so much better.

I have tried both and kept the Pro, it’s just that the Max is too wide to use comfortably and the extra weight is very noticeable and tiring even after a few minutes of using the phone. Battery life on the Pro is just excellent, yes the Max is quite a bit better but it’s just not enough to tip the scale in it’s favor. Of course that’s my own preference.

Used to have the 12 pro max but since the pros are the same in specs I decided to try both 13 pro and pro max in store and I fell in love with the pro. The max was too bulky and kinda ugly the 13 pro looks slim and beautiful. I bought the 13 pro and I’m loving it. The 120hz display makes SUCH a big difference. Trying to older iphones feels so sluggish and jello.

I’ve owned both the 11 Pro Max and now with the 13 Pro Max. The 11 I owned for two years. I bought the 13 for specifically for the camera system, which I thought the lens flare would be better on the 13, but it's not; they are both bad. And I like the rounded grip on the 11 better, but overall I like the 13 better. One question I have is there any way I can record pro res off the 13 directly to a external device so I don't use up so much storage?

Did something hadn’t done in awhile. Went from max to pro today. Was easier with all hardware specs being the same. Felt it would be nicer to be able to store in pockets other than the back pocket. Besides just having to adjust to using the smaller pro everything works great.

Yes that is what I'm hearing too. For me, I don't really take a lot of videos and if I do I don't upload them. So the pro res doesn't really matter to me much. A lot of KZbinrs say the pro res is good, but not really worth it if you don't shoot a lot of videos.

I had both and was torn for weeks but finally decided on the Max. The Pro is definitely more comfortable but coming from the 11 Pro max and the XS max before that I’m it’s hard going back to a smaller display. Everything on the 13 Pro just felt small. With that being said the 13PM is thick and heavy no denying that and that’s going to take some getting used to.

I just upgraded to a 13 pro max from an xs max and I've had it for three weeks and I. Still can't get used to it. It's so wide to grip comfortably and the weight from the xs max is definitely noticeable. Also I preferred the rounded corners of the xs max than the squared edges of these new phones. I think the 6.5 screen of the xs max was perfect. The regular pro definitely feels too small even though I'm a small 5'4 girl and have smallish hands. I still don't like the iPhone pro's size much even though it's definitely comfortable to use in one handed. I feel like I made a mistake in keeping the pro max but I wasn't happy when I tried the pro either 😑

This year the star is really the 13 Pro as it’s more compact and portable size gives up nothing in performance for a Pro model. Even battery life is outstanding and does better than previous years Pro Max size. The Pro Max is a brick and unless you want to compromise all day carry comfort. The trade off isn’t worth it now that we have equal performance between Pro & Pro Max. Look it this way: Extra battery life is meaningless if going to bed and you have 20% on the Pro and 30% on the Pro Max since it’s extra battery life would be waisted since your charging your phone anyway. Battery life insecurity can really distort reality in a real world portable device. This is like walking around all day with 5 lbs boots vs 2 lbs boots when even a pair of sneakers would have been ideal. The extra weight yields nothing in real world performance unless you continuously run your phone to 0% at the end of the day and that won’t happen with either Pro or Pro max. Go on a extended vacation where you are really carrying and using your phone a lot and at the end of the day at a place like Disney World, the Pro Max will feel even heavier and annoying.

I skipped the 12 last year but this year I traded in my 11 pro max for the 13 pro max. Excellent battery life but otherwise, not much different to me than my 11 pro max. The 120hz promotion is negligible at best. I just can’t tell the difference.

Opted for the 13 Pro Max. Battery extends performance and features. Display negates the need for any tablet. Together both improve the overall experience and greatly reduces battery charge anxiety as demonstrated in repeated battery test vs flagship Android devices especially those with much larger batteries.

Always had a Max ever since there was a Max. Bought a 13 Max and returned it for the 13 Pro. 13 Max just seemed a little heavier than my 12 Max. Not much difference in specs and I really like the size of the Pro. No regrets

Coming from a 12 pro max and been using a 13 pro and it’s honestly been great. I’m ending the day on MORE battery left than on my 12 pro max, I’m always using my phone one-handed and it’s been a joy to have something this excellent with portability. I’m not justifying my experience when I say these things or with regret for not sticking with the max, I can honestly say the 13 pro is probably the best option for MOST people and for those wanting a downsize change this year it’s definitely the year to do it!

Upgraded from 12pro 128Gb to 13 Pro Max 256Gb. Reason, bigger screen, I thought 6’1 will be ok, but 6’7 is just perfect. Bigger battery life. (Quiet amazing). 120Hz screen is very nice, you cannot go back. Snapdragon X60 newer 5G modem. On 12 pro, 5G was quiet bad, drained battery, poor connection, call drops, quiet often I turned 5G off and turned lte instead, well it’s not a case anymore on 13 pro max. Screen is brighter, I live in the sunshine state, and brighter display helps a lot.

Upgraded from my XS Max to the 13 Pro Max and at first was surprised how much bigger the 13 Pro Max felt (i loved the XS Max size and could onehand everything with ease). Had few doubts for about 2 weeks but eventually got used to it. Now I look at my Dad's iphone 11 and find it tiny (and the 13 Pro would be even smaller physical size). No way I could downgrade to a 6.1in device.

I went from a 7 Plus to the 13 Pro Max. Although the Plus and the Max basically look like the same size…wow, what a difference in weight! I’m kind of regretting the size. However, if I had purchased the Pro, I’d probably regret not getting the Max 🤣 Either way, it’s an amazing phone and I’m loving the battery life and the big beautiful screen.
