Just ordered an iPhone 13 in red that should arrive in the mail tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to using my new iPhone. I’ve had my current iPhone XR for just over 5 years and it’s definitely due to be replaced as the battery life has depleted down to 78% and it has gotten quite slow and laggy the last few months. My new iPhone 13 will definitely be a nice upgrade from my XR.

I came from 120HZ Oneplus 8T. I felt it only for a day and then it’s not a issue at all. There are some other things that annoys me on iOS though but I like some other things as well. The phone overall is great. Doesn’t need any other phone for 2-3 more years but my model might require a battery replacement after 2 years. Mine is 1 year 9 months old.

What the battery health on your device? And does it last for 1 day or u hv to charge it

@@vivansayshi battery health is at 88% and it does last a day in most cases. If you use mobile data, bluetooth and location all at the same time then you need to charge it at least twice a day. I am using everything on a daily basis because I also have an apple watch. If you can get hands on iPhone 14 plus then I think battery wouldn’t be a problem at all for 3-4 years.

I currently have an iPhone XR and it has actually lasted me just over 5 years without much issue. At this point the battery health is at 75% though and it has gotten noticeably slower and more laggy the last few months so it’s for sure due to be replaced. I just ordered a iPhone 13 in red that should arrive in the mail tomorrow and I’m really excited. Even though it’s not the absolute best phone on the market I definitely know I’ll be more than satisfied with it. It’ll for sure be an upgrade from the one I’ve had the past 5 years so I think even though it’s not the fastest or most fancy out there it’ll at least be an improvement from what im used to.

Have been running with the Alpine Green iPhone 13 Pro Max since 2022. No plans to upgrade to a newer version. None of the 14 or 15’s added features has spiked my interest. The 13 has everything you need.

I bought the iPhone 13 at launch. Great phone overall. Do not hesitate if you want to buy this phone in 2024. Great cameras, great performance etc... The only thing i wished was better about this phone is the RAM. Most of the time my apps have to reload shortly after i use them. That's the only issue with this phone. Great purchase overall.

@@cleo.5020 i told you guys about my experience. I use apps such as facebook, youtube and linked in…. Most of them reload after some time. Im sure this wouldn’t have been a problem if there was more ram in it. Even the new mac m3 has only 8gb ram on the base model. Reviewers have noticed the downsides of it by comparing it to other windows devices. Im not exaggerating things😃. I know IOS is efficient but the ram on IOS is not equivalent to 2 times more ram on android or windows. It has already been tested by reviewers.

The screen dimming issue is real! My cousin has iphone and she does vlogging but whenever she records even 720p or 1080p video for longer duration the screen will be so dim that you can't even see anything clearly on screen!

I bought the iPhone 13 when it released in 2021. Currently it has 91% battery health. I also bought the iPhone 13 mini in 2022. It still has 100% battery health. I see no reason to upgrade for at least 2 more years. The thing I like is here in the US, it still has a physical SIM card.

One thing I should add is that the iPhone 13 and 13 mini only come with 4GB RAM. Yes 4GB of RAM is handled better on iOS than on Android but regardless of OS 6GB is always better than 4GB.

I think this device is great except the RAM may be an issue if your a heavy user and also there is no USB type C on this device so you would need to use a lightening cable to charge the phone. However apart of that it's a killer deal this device and it doesn't disappoint much.

I just got mine like two weeks ago. Upgraded from the xr. Honestly not that much of a difference. Definitely faster and has a better camera. The battery life is fantastic. Great phone.

@@Bizzina It allows me to get the best combination of features and value in a phone while skipping unnecessary upgrades and avoiding features that are not developed long-term. It ensures an optimal spending of my money. We are close to or just past peak iPhone so it's a mature product. Holding phones for longer periods is now normal. the iPhone's durability is good enough that a case is optional rather than mandatory. We just need improvements in battery technology to complete the process and give us the option of going days and eventually weeks between charges.

I have been using iphone 13 since June 2022 and S23 since Feb 2023. I use both the phones side by side and S23 is at 120 Hz. The animation in iphone compensates a lot for the lack of 120 Hz. Even so that at many times I find myself to be wanting to use the iphone more. But ofcourse this is not an excuse for iphone to keep getting 60 Hz refresh rate for the base model at every iteration. Also, as much as I like using iPhone, if I was bound to use only one device then it would undoubtedly be the S23 just because it is so versatile.

I can only extend my budget up to buying iPhone 11/12. Where as at this price point there are android phones with latest specs. Chinese brands have bad software but good specs and samsung has good software with bad specs. Can you suggest if i should buy a android or iPhone?

Lots of Chinese brands have had a reputation for bad software in matters few, late or no updates and ads built into the OS and undeletable bloat ware. But I'll say they've improved quite a lot and for those that still bring bloat ware and pop ups, it takes just a few minutes during set-up to disable them.

It's a big risk to buy 2nd hand flagship androids/iPhones if you are tight on budget as the repair costs will still be that of a 60-70k phone. If something happens to display you need to pay 20-30k to fix it.

Just bough Midnight color 13 changed from S21 120hz. So smooth, good camera quality, modern, good battery and everything is so good. Definitely purchasable in 2024. Iphone 13 is the most optimal and best choice to buy rn. Everything is literally the same with 14. Even 15. Ye there are some slight differences with 15 but its definitely not worth paying the gap. And 14 is the same with 13. Exactly the same. If u gon' yap about 60hz and wanna buy 120hz then you better walk on pride walks at June as a certified gay. Iphone's 60hz is not same as any other 60hz. It feels like 130 fps in Iphone 13 even tho its 60 hz because of the quality of Apple's system.

This is where iPhone shines. Even a 2 year old iPhone 13 is better than most new androids in terms of reliability and stability on iOS. I have an iPhone 13 and to me it looks very bit as premium as the new 15 models. And it saves quite a bit of money.

And yes iPhone doesn't have a high refresh rate on its base models, but unlike android, iPhones are smooth with or without 120 hertz. By comparison, most androids feel sluggish on 60 hertz.

@@luckystone2293that’s unrealistic. Just charge it overnight. I have the base model 13 and after 2 years I charge it once a day overnight. Not a single problem and my BH is at 86%

The only thing i hate about the normal iphone 13 is its 2 lens camera. It hase no zoom lens, and the digital zoom is so blurry that it is completely unusable. You coud get an android for 200 dollars that has better cameras.
