iPhone 13PM CPU Swap - How to Recover Data from a Severely Bent iPhone

In this video, watch as we tackle an iPhone 13 Pro Max with a severe bend and cracked motherboard. We'll take you through the entire CPU transfer process, including:
1️⃣ Preparing the donor board by pulling chips and cleaning pads.
2️⃣ Removing the CPU, NAND, and EEPROM from the damaged iPhone.
3️⃣ Reballing the chips for proper alignment and connectivity.
4️⃣ Placing the chips on the donor board to complete the process.
During this procedure, we encountered an issue with the PMIC, which we replaced to ensure a successful recovery. In hindsight, it might not have been necessary, but it's always better to be thorough!

I don't know, possibly. That would not work for data recovery, but maybe with a restore. I dont really consider cpu swaps to be a reliable repair, so I only do them for data recovery purposes.

It is a little different for each model, but in general you need the the pmic, charging ics, image and touch ics, boost ic (or short boost to main), and sometimes some audio ics. It is really a lot less then people think. He wrote this in a different video.

Hello when clean the underfill on the swap board. When you support the soldering iron with your hot gun. Do you take out the air? Or what air setting do you use? Do you work with a preheater for it

I don't use a preheater, I just use 220c on the hot air to assist the iron.

do you now if i cn swapp the logic eeprom on an 13 pro max the eeprom is damaged but im not 100% sure if thats the reason the phone is bootlooping and the apple stays only 3 seconds i testet a icloud board without logic eeprom ans its behavior is the same can i safe the phone with another eeprom i think i heard that the logic eeprom on i think 11 and above arent swappable but im not sure thanks vor help :D

I dont think it will work but I have never tried! It would need a full restore if it has any chance.

@Repair yeah on the old ones it works with a new logic eeprom and restore but only until xs series i think but i dont 100% know and maybe someone of you had tryed it x3
