Great tutorial! One question: do you not reapply adhesive when reassemling the phone?

Primarily because it still won’t make the device IP68 water resistant. And I haven’t found an easy way to remove and replace. I do for certain repairs or if the customer specifically requests it and I charge a bit more when I do, especially because i actually take the time and effort to stock genuine apple gaskets

@@repaironwheels thanks for the reply! Yeah, I figured that was the case… I remember it being a bugger the last time I did it, I think it was iPhone X… and that is when I stopped doing this work! Probably would’ve been easier with a heat gun, admittedly 😂

@PhilAlbu it was easy up to the 11s. The gaskets on the 12 and newer is a pain in the ass to replace
