@@123theprodigy5 I have noticed a bit of a dip in battery life with the always on display. I came from an iPhone 11 Pro Max with 89% battery capacity. And the battery seems to have depleted similarly to that.

Got 14 Pro this time after Max sized phones for last 6 years. It’s super easy to handle. Jury is still out on battery life which was my main reason for Max phones.

Thank you for all these great video tutorials! I am a silver haired "senior" who is somewhat "digitally challenged" and just upgraded from an iPhone 7 to the iPhone 14 Pro model. First of all, bringing all my "stuff" from the "7" to the "14" was AMAZINGLY quick, efficient, and easy. I seem to recall a tortuous and convoluted and rather insecure process in past phone upgrades.... so Apple seems to have been paying attention! By watching all of your relevant KZbins on the "14" I was able to fine tune the settings quickly and I find this new phone FANTASTIC and I am very pleased with this upgrade. Thanks again for incredibly helpful videos!

I would love to see a light green color like the "natural green" on the anker nano charger, for the 15 pro. Also, I don't think you should change the aspect ratio. The dynamic island being on the video display isn't a big deal and I'm sure most will get used to it like with the notch. Something I must mention that most are missing. I saw a review showing that the speaker quality on the iPhone 14 pros is significantly better than the 13 pros. Excited to pick mine up back home! Hoping I don't regret getting the gold, I kinda 2nd guessed the space black and purple.

I generally prefer 16:9 for videos. It’s not a big deal if it’s wider though. I think the eye focuses clearly on around 4:3, but peripheral vision can go as wide as 18:10.

Bothers the crap out of me that the dynamic island cuts into 18:9 footage but I'll probably continue recording at the resolution anyway because I prefer the extra horizontal screen real estate for my video overlays and it'll still overall accommodate most phone screen sizes. I appreciate the fact that you addressed that since it was my first concern upon seeing the design adjustment.

To be honest I don’t see much of a difference between the 14s and my iPhone 13 Pro Max 🤔🤷‍♂️ there doesn’t seem to be a difference between it and say a iPhone 12 Pro either. I’d advise people with a 12 or newer to wait until the 15s come out in another year .

The dumbness with the name for the top section is basically that there’s no need to call it “dynamic island” you could just call it the “island” and market it as dynamic or just not even do that and let people see that it is “dynamic”.

Android has it, you can tell I want ADO only after 6am or before 10pm. So display is completely off at night time. It is not only save a battery, it also doesn't bother you as you sleep.

I own iPhone 11 and this year upgraded to the 14pro (purple). The color is not that obvious and I'm happy with my choice. Note that during the upgrade my new phone shut off - black screen of death. I needed to do a force restart which then initiated the 16.0.1 upgrade. Other than that, everything else moved over and no other issues were encountered.

It’s pretty much the same phone as last year. Wait a year if you want this one, don’t make the mistake I did and buy a new phone a few months before they release their new line. The price will drop like $400. 11-14 are all like the same phone tbh

Maybe iPhone 14 can't be exceed as it won't uses the sim card tray anymore and people still using SIM card tray for their mobiles..even for me I won't be getting that since I still uses my own SIM card from my previous iPhones.

could you please hook the pro and the pro max to one of those volt meters and check out how much wattage they can pull. 13 Pro Max pulled about 27W and I think maybe the 14 could pull 30W, definitely something to try out.

Im having issues with my 14 pro already, my what’s app won’t send pictures at all it just crashes. Tried restarting it, rebooting it, deleted the app, which caused me to lose years of pictures. Also had the vibrating camera issue when opening the camera on what’s app which multiple ppl have experienced. So far not a good start with the 14pro. Thinking of returning it and going back to my 12pro
