The things I love about this channel: -No overhyping. It is becoming unbearable to watch most KZbinrs because of too much hype, especially negative ones -Comprehensive coverage. Most creators just state the obvious or just parrot company brochure. -Smooth delivery. No repeating yourself, jarring jumps or contradictory assertions. -Balance. While Ella clearly has preferences, which is absolutely OK and makes her more trustworthy, she does a good job of delivering neutral views. -Knowledge. She clearly knows what she is talking about. And keep in mind I have only known her channel for only a month and a half but this is all clear (after binging).

the overhype one always turned me off because its personally in their own expectation fault and not the device they reviewed. they were talking about gaming and such while apple never invented the gaming purpose in their models unlike android phones that claimed and sponsored for gaming purpose. iphones are made for profesional reason such as business since it has tight security but people still talks about gaming 🗿 fortunate enough it can still handle high end games eventho its not made for gaming.

This channel deserves more attention, these days popular KZbin channels are either focused on publishing sponsored content, reviewing an item that they received in mail rather than one that they researched and looked forward to review, and most channels fails to mention things that might help a Normal consumer to make the right decision, most times they end up with a device that their favourite KZbinr adviced rather than one that better suits them. Either way most channels publish min 2 videos for a device, so i think they should include every detail in the final review. It's painful when you buy a device based on reviews only to realise that it's not a perfect fit for you, so it's always better to have all issues pointed out by someone before they decide to buy the device.

I actually used my iPhone daily for taking pictures and videos now (instead of lugging around a dslr) for information sharing in the company I work for. The iPhone 14 Pro was a big jump up from an iPhone X I was using for the last 3+ years. Certainly a big improvement on the photo quality. I'm still learning the abilities and limitations about it, but yes, the 48mp camera really needs to be able to switch file formats or they need to change the ISO so the picture taking is snappier. The sensor is definitely large enough to draw enough light in to take an f2.8 shot. Feels more like it's been stopped down to a f4. I've almost convinced myself to get a filler light to help it out. (instead of buying a new dslr instead of my 10 year old monster I've been using).

Thank you so much for this review… As someone who switched from a 8 plus to a 14 pro max there is a MAJOR difference in the image processing. I strongly dislike the over sharpening that you were describing that is a result of the over-processing in ‘deep fusion’. Hoping they come out with an alternative setting to turn this off or adjust it manually without needing to shoot in pro raw

Coming from someone who has an iPhone 8, it's definitely a bit weird to see people say how tragic the battery life is when it's well over 5x the life that I get on my phone. I think a good comparison to other older phones could be a good idea because it is what most people would be switching from and not from the previous model just to see how much we would be gaining. Just a thought though. I am definitely interested though in seeing how much better the 48MP camera on the 14 pro is than on the 8 haha.

Using the 14 pro max I’ve noticed I noticed the macro auto focus completely gives up when the lighting gets a little dimmer and RAW images with tough dynamic range conditions will have super aggressive smoothing in some parts of it Like it genuinely looks like a game area didn’t load correctly Edit: Idk if it’s completely gone but I haven’t seen it do that in a long while

I love my 14 Pro. Battery life is great, even with always on display, and I’ve had zero issues. The dynamic island is nice, but shouldn’t be a reason to upgrade. Very nice images too! I have an Apple silicone case, but it still feels like the camera lenses aren’t well protected. I’ve got an Otterbox Symmetry on order though, so we’ll see.

@@franc7524 yes, the camera allows you to make many adjustments to the brightness and color contrast. Many are automatic though, as you can select the default image quality you prefer when you’re setting up the phone. I think I selected “vibrant”, so my colors are sharper. In addition, the camera does fantastic in low light situations as well.

Ok so weight of the phone is actually 240 g if you're buying the Pro Max.. vs S22 Ultra. Can someone please explain to me the purpose of weight adding stainless steel frame if regardless you're going to still need a case to protect the glass backing? As I can tell, all it does is add extra unnecessary weight to the device and MAYBE protects it if falls from just the right angle..but a good case will do the exact same thing..

This is my first iPhone, I upgraded from a Galaxy S20. I do think for regular photos it's an upgrade, but my close up photos of food isn't as good. I guess I need time to get used to it, so far I just take photos further away and crop more. Love to hear if anyone has any tips for better close up food photography.

Even though I have an Android phone (Galaxy S21 FE) and I like Android better than iOS at the end of the day, I still like seeing what Apple is up to with their newest phones. AOD on my phone at maximum brightness uses like 10% while I sleep at night (about 10 hrs, around there). Great videos by the way Ella, continue making fire content.

Your videos have evolved quite rapidly over a short period of time in production value Well pointing out all the things that really matter and not typing the ones that don’t and giving me a true or a more accurate idea in one video of work ownership experience of a device would be. Thank you for making your videos so useful and so stylish. You have a real organizational and articulation ability and produce a very polished Thoroughly informative video. The time that you put into it makes the time that I spend watching it very valuable. I got all hyped up from Apple‘s introduction of the phone and thought about unnecessarily upgrading from my iPhone 13 Pro Max, but I am definitely moving forward with a more level head and holding off to see when Apple will have a phone that makes enough difference to matter. I suspect, and hope, that the iPhone 15 Pro (and Ultra?) will be that phone for me, and many. I’m looking forward to more of your good work because I do want to get a watch or a tablet a little further into the future, so I will be watching and enjoying all of your videos on anything.

I think there are lot of optimization that can be done if you are comparing AOD with iPhone vs Samsung. Perhaps not the best Apples to apples comparison also considering the vast settings that are optimized in Android developer options. I might not disagree with the results just that they both are not the same software for AOD to compare against. Perhaps using same app on two different phones might give a better perspective

What about burn-in screen?? Since AOD in iphone is literally always on with full screen.

Your videos are amazing. I would love to hear your thoughts on the pixel 7 versus the iPhone 14 pro. I have them both right now and I'm so torn on which one is getting sold.

7 your getting a exynos chip so there’s that although it’s a pretty good customized version of it. S23 should be a huge improvement for sure I hope it is. iPhone is meh for me even with iOS 16 it feels boring for me even my older androids I still have feel more fun lol
