Got mine in April 2024 5+ months using this ! A very very heavy user ! Average screen use 10-12 hrs per day with 5-6 hrs of gaming charge it 2X per day battery health 98% with 180 cycles ( as i use it for playing games ) pretty much happy with it ❤️

@@tariqnusierat3596 Make sure you charge your phone in a cool place and don’t put it in charge when it’s hot ! Just let it cool for 5 minutes then plug it in! Also don’t go below 20% unless its not necessary or emergency always charge it around 30-40%

Tomorrow is my iPhone 15 Plus's birthday and after a year I could not be happier. You don't need to charge this phone everyday, which is so rare to see nowadays. Though, I set it to charge up to 80% to save battery capacity and it has held up so well. A year later it's at 98%! I'm absolutely in love with this phone, the Pro's are not needed if you're a basic user. I really hope they keep making the Plus models. Planning to upgrade when/if the 18 or 19 Pluses come out.

3 months ago, I finally upgraded from my trusty 8 Plus (bought in 2018, first iPhone) to a 15 Pro. However before deciding on it, I was keen on the 15 Plus as I didn't care much for the 120hz screen, and the battery life sounded promising. The downside was its huge size, whereas a regular model or Pro perfectly match the old Pluses so it felt like a natural evolution. So given their similar price range, I went with the Pro and I'm definitely super happy. BUT if you don't mind the size / weight, the 15+ is absolutely a must buy.

@@DavinciAwesome the faster processor absolutely makes it futureproof with Apple Intelligence incoming, and I do enjoy the snappy refresh rate. But for the average user, this might not matter especially if they tend to upgrade every 2 years so they won't feel like they're outdated for long (and presumably, the regular models will finally get 120hz too or at least 90hz by 2026). Hence why I still think the Plus is a great buy for right now.

Example is the difference between a13 and a16. I can’t see the difference. But the difference between 60 and 120 hz is just so clear to me. There are many things that many people won’t see any difference anyways. Oled vs lcd, 4g vs 5g, a16 to even a12 i doubt normal people will notice that. As a tech fan who's owned 120hz phones in the past, you're really not missing out if you don't have 120hz. I'm currently on a 60hz Samsung and after a week, I honestly stopped missing 120hz. It's kinda like how bokeh photos used to be a must-have camera feature in 2018, but people stopped caring for it over time. I call it a tech youtuber propaganda. It's really not a feature.

Still on an iPhone X and I will be holding out for the iPhone 17 Pro Max next year. I feel like the iPhone 16 across the board was already signed off on before Apple Intelligence. So, even the optimized Pro models might not have a long shelf life. The A19 is the true Apple Intelligence release. Heck, even Apple Intelligence won't be fully backed until mid cycle. Might as well hold out until next fall if you are still on a 13 or 14.

too big and a $100 or so off my budget, but I think i’d even get this over the 15 Pro. I’ve been using the regular 15 for three weeks, as a kinda heavy user to test it to the max, playing music on loud volume, using social media, watching youtube videos, entire football matches, and I still reach 9 PM with 40% left. Can’t imagine the massive autonomy of the 15 Plus, i’ll get that over the 120 Hz any day, the rest of the pro features aren’t even appealing to me

In reference to AI it is my understanding that this phone can NOT do it because it does not have the A17 chip that is required. In the iPhone 15 models only the iPhone 15 Pro and the 15 Pro Max have the A17 (64-bit ARM-based system on a chip) that is needed for AI to function when it arrives.

I went from a 13 Pro to this phone. I know some people would see that as a downgrade but I wanted to try a bigger phone, was unhappy with the 13 Pro's battery life and wasn't sure I was using the Pro features enough to make it worthwhile. I would say that it's a fantastic phone to use, and is very light and comfortable for its size, with a monster battery life. The only thing I really miss is 120Hz, so am thinking about getting the 16 Pro Max. But I would say that the 15 Plus is the most enjoyable iPhone I've used up to now!

It's a great phone only thing that bothers me is that it's only a 60Hz refresh rate. For a $900+ phone, it should be at least 90Hz. Some budget phones and mid-tier phones come with 90Hz and even 120Hz. C'mon Apple.

I actually do want 120hz but this is the only phone on my budget as it is difficult to find the old pro models in india brand new. The thing is i dont wanna go the second hand route and i have a oneplus 12r as a secondary device, Iphone Xr as a primary device, and boy do i notice the difference between 120hz and 60hz. I actually hate the fact that a 80k phone (750$ or smtg) does not have pro motion, it is just irritating. I love apple, but i hate this differentiation in the panels. Ughhh

It's a cash grab, so much of the 🍏 Intelligence is simple stuff and is featured in lower spec other brands. Examples like Google Photos iOS 15 giving on device abilities like the 🍏 paywalled clean up.

But people are still using Iphone 13 PM (and to be honest it pretty much does everything 15 PM does) so I guess that's Apples way of pushing people to upgrade. If leaks are true, 16 PM = 15 PM + AI and 15 PM = 14 PM + usb c + action button and so on.

I'm not interested in AI (and most probably won't upgrade from my 14 PM), but imagine people buying non Pro Iphone 15 only to find out later it will be outdated as soon as next year. Many competitors are either primarily software and service companies or phones are just a niche part of their overall operation.
