I recently purchased my new iPhone 15 Pro Max about 2 weeks ago and it was manufactured in July 2024. I look forward to using it for a long time and I am glad to see that I get the longevity from the Apple Intelligence amongst other things. I was showing my baby girl a show on PBS Kids app and in her excitement she slapped it out of my hand, which the phone landed on tile from chair height. Survived the fall and we kept watching lol. The cameras are great. I have a couple of my favorite new photos ever, which I used the 5x camera and added portrait in post.

Love mine, super smooth and the battery is still awesome. Just went to Disney World and was able to use the tap feature on my phone and watch instead of using the cards or expensive additional Disney bands. I am looking forward to the 16 Pro Max tho, I made the leap a decade ago to purchase my phone in full and being able to trade it in each year and pay $400-$500 for a new one is nice.

@CrisCheese_ Nah, something doesn't add up b/c WA autocorrect is just on it. Signal will rewrite entire sentences leaving your original text illegible to the recipient. And iMessage will do the same, and that's off a Mac keyboard b/c I run a Mac for computing but Samsung/Android for a phone & use Gboard on the phone. Have contemplated returning to iPhone for the ecosystem & ease of content creation but I just find Samsung superior to Apple for handsets. And like another commenter on here, I find Gboard superior to iPhone's keyboard.

The battery size isn’t going to be a huge improvement though by the looks of it. Maybe another 40 minutes of extra battery life…My regular 15 Pro barely gets 5-6 hours of screen on time with a few features turned off like Always On Display and Background Refresh.

I’m don’t think so, the 16 Pro Max has always been and always will be the star of the show with the new features coming to the Pro Max first, not everyone prefers the smaller iPhone Pro models and i include myself in that, the regular pro model iPhones are too small for me, bigger is always better for me, longer battery life, more screen real estate.

The stainless steel on the iPhone 12PM has been nearly flawless for me after the last 4 years. It held its smoothness even after countless hikes, trail runs, and several drops on gravel paths (in its case/screen protector of course). I thought it was great despite it picking up fingerprints quite easily. I wonder how yours acquired so many scratches? Would you wash the case regularly to clean away any debris?

Still rocking my 15 PM decided to upgrade to the black AWU 2 instead. I remember when I had the 13 Pro feeling upset about the titanium finish. Thinking the stainless steel looked more premium. I wanted a bigger IPhone and usb c tho. After having the 15PM in black for some time. I love this phone and it looks sick! I rock it with a screen protector and no case. The only thing is I’m worried about scratches more since I didn’t get natural but I like black tech so I’ll deal with it 🤷🏽‍♀️Might get a D Brand skin. This is the best IPhone I ever had. The screen is amazing. Battery life is great. Still at 100% after 158 cycles, with a mix of wired and MagSafe charging. I have the 80% limit set. Just a great overall phone. I’ll be keeping it for awhile.

I bought my iPhone 15 Pro Max on launch day, and it has been the second worst phone I've ever owned. The battery life is worse than that of my previous 12 Pro Max; it’s a complete disaster - I have to charge it twice a day. I even took it to Apple, and they said the phone was in perfect condition. The device feels much more fragile, and it also gets very hot, even though I don’t use it for gaming. The only things I like about it are the 120Hz screen and the maximum brightness. I find the Dynamic Island more irritating than the notch; when watching videos or movies in a 21:9 format, it is far more distracting.

As always very helpful review! Top smartphone, with some dissapointments. Battery not sth I was enthusiased at max 2 days with all battery saving preferences with much of the usage being on wifi with bluetooth on. Extremely dissapointing was that the back side with a spigen cover lost its colours on the back right edge side. Finally sth I am expecting to be corrected with new IOS major SW Release is the vibration which again is not very strong. Finally as u mentioned there are occassions where it crashes the app. In overall 8out 10 in my opinion given the price tag.

To be honest if i were you i would keep the 14 pro if its still working perfectly fine, or if you need a bigger space then consider upgrading, go for the 15 or 16 Pro Max, or unless if you want to wait a little longer why not go for the 17. I upgraded from a Samsung A13 which ive had from 2022 and just recently to a 15 Pro Max and i think it was a wise decision for me.

My last android phone was a Samsung Galaxy S4, I haven’t thought about getting another android since. But unfortunately, my 14 Pro Max gives me headaches. I think it’s the oled screen, so my favorite phone right now is my trusty iPhone SE 3 with an iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case. As far as apps go, 1st party apps will ALWAYS perform better on Apple devices. That’s exactly how they want it to be to encourage users to stick within the garden. The same can be said for note taking apps and the Apple Pencil on iPads. The Apple Pencil interacts much better within Notes than other 3rd party apps, and it’s by design. Nothing wrong with that, their device their rules, but it’s definitely not an accident.

You don't have to worry about charging your iPhone with a 20w+ brick either, as the phone will charge at its max charging speeds (in the case of iPhone, 20w).

Nick what’s going on with a pixel fold pro 9 video? I’m tired of all these last gen iPhone videos. In my experience, atleast regarding google drive, it works better on my iphone. When i download any image or video it downloads directly to my gallery in ios. But the same thing i do on my android, it will sometimes not show up in the gallery but the file manager. It is frustrating as my work is primarily from my phone and my android is the work phone as i thought it would work better with google apps. Idk if it is the os skin issue or what but it is annoying, i find ios more reliable in this regard.

I think Apple's control over their eco system is too restrictive. No apple watch with a Samsung phone or visa versa. And Samsung is guilty of this to as of recent. But that's Apple's deal. Nothing but apple products with Apple's products. I can use a one plus watch with a pixel, Samsung etc. A pixel watch with a Samsung etc. All that is what makes me gravitate to my S24+ or 24 Ultra. My 15PM sits in the night stand.

Yeah you are definitely not their target customer then which is okay and I get your point the universality of using different products, but there is also a point where when everything is tightly controlled it just works and very smooth and easy, makes life with tech easier sometimes even if less open

@@krskadavethe Apple ecosystem is better integrated because of it only being compatible with only Apple devices and that’s one of many reasons why nobody can match the Apple ecosystem, you’re not the target audience for Apple, but I personally prefer everything being consistent and cohesive and only Apple does that for me.

BIG hate on the polished sides, had a 14 pro max and recently switched to the 15 pro max. The fingerprints on the sides and even the glass around the camera of the 14 pro max got so yucky and scratched up I never took it out of the case. And even then it still somehow got some chips and scratches.

I've 14PM aswell and serouly dunno what ur on abt lol the phone does everything its supposed to without any hiccups for the most part !!! I've seen ppl with 15PM who regrets their buy saying 14PM would've been a better buy in a discounted rate !!!
