@@keniekjain6074 No. Maybe once or twice my phone got warmer than normal but I spend a lot of time on my phone so those were anomalies. This phone just doesn’t get hot but the 15 plus has aluminum siding, not titanium.

@@krishnachaitanya4563 Battery life is very good when on WiFi, but on data (4G and 5G) it’s been ok and not as big of an improvement over my iPhone 12 Pro Max which had a much smaller battery. Ending the day at around 20-25% with 5hrs screen on time when I’ve been on data all day, which is about the same maybe a bit better than my 12 Pro max but not hugely. While on WiFi all day I have done roughly 7hrs screen on time with 30-35% remaining. And heating issues I think that’s more people repeating what a few people experienced at the beginning of the iPhone 15 Pro launch, because I’ve had no heating issues, in fact my 12 Pro max was having heating issues saying it’s too hot to charge so needs to cool down even though my room temperature is at around 21 Celsius. My 15 Pro Max has had no heating issues at all.

@@krishnachaitanya4563 battery life is ok, it could be better but I guess that’s what you expect from having 120hz and AOD with wallpaper on I get between 7-8 hrs screen on time with 4G/5G on half the day and on auto screen brightness. Heating issues none at all, the phone gets warm, but honestly the heating issues were a little bit over exaggerated at the beginning, my 12 pro max would often say “iPhone too hot needs to cool down to resume charging”.

I am *amazed* at how light the 15 Pro Max feels. For the first time in years, I have happily gone to a Pro Max phone, without regret. The 14 Pro I had felt slightly heavier, even though it was a bit lighter. The Pro Max is spread out, but the titanium makes a substantial difference. Here’s hoping the 16 Pro Max leaked weight hold true, as the screen and thus the phone, is slightly larger at 6.9”. There is no going back to smaller Pro phones, since I need the Tetraprism zoom.

The saying "You can't miss what you never had" has never rung more true than when you've used 120hz and try going back to 60hz. Sure, you can force yourself to use a lower quality panel and you'll be used to it...but why though? The savings in price for a device I'll keep for 3-4 years just doesn't entice me enough to warrant the downgrade.

Well the 20 grams lighter phone is important to a lot of ppl. We all have our preferences. Given a choice between less weight and 120hz I'd happily take the lighter phone every time. 120hz is nice to have but not life changing and certainly not a must-have on a phone screen. I have a 14 pro and a 12 and after 5 minutes with the 12 I forget that it's 60hz. Sometimes I switch to the 12 just because it's so light at 164 grams.

Apple knows that if they put 120 htz on the plus, people will buy it rather than the pro max. Honestly, Apple can implement 120htz, just without the ltpo thing or the refresh rate not going down to 1htz. As well as always on display. Android phones before had 60htz with AOD, why apple didn't bring this feature to the base 15s heck! even older models, I don't know.

My wife got her new 15 pro yesterday, set it up and charge to 100% OVER NIGHT. After 3 hours 45 minutes of use, she is down to 59% battery! I picked a 15 Pro Max as an investment on not upgrading for many years. BUT I really think today a 15 Plus would've equally nice and saved me some cash, since I don't use all the Pro Max has to offer. I came from an 11 Pro Max and the upgrade surprised me in many aspects - speed, camera, smooth operation. I feel the 15 Pro Max is like a car you keep pushing and it just keeps going. Very refined in this way! Certainly will stay years with it.

I got an iPhone 14 Pro last November soon after they came out because my wife and I wanted to get on a plan together and I had given my iPhone 11 to my mother. My original plan was was to keep this phone for at least 5 years but she decided to leave the marriage and get a new phone as well so we are literally stuck on the same plan until either phone is paid off. I’m looking to just get on a new line with the iPhone 15 pro max and and just give her this phone to pay for on her own. Being a new single father with no time on my hands this video definitely helped my decision making and I appreciate the in depth review of both of these phones!

My fave feature of the 15 Pros has to be the lighter titanium frame. My kids bought the mid year green 13 Pro, and I've always disliked the weight of their phone. I advise you to get the regular 12, provided that it is new, with a memory of 128. I previously had a 7 plus, and also a 15 or 15 plus with matte black, which are excellent + you do not need the Pro Max. Actually, you need the regular or the plus.

Honestly my first taste of Apple hasn't been the best. Saying that, the peripherals are spectacular. I love the mountains of information that the Apple Watch collects, however the battery life has often left more to be desired (Especially compared to my Samsung Watch) The Airpods Pro Gen 2 took a bit of time to get used to be now they're easily my favorite wireless earbuds, taking first place over my experience with the Galaxy Buds Pro 2. As for the iPhone itself? There are features I miss on my Samsung phone - Reverse wireless charging, fast charging, pro video/photo mode, a more expansive app store etc. If the S24U is anything like the jump from the S22U to the S23U then I am certainly switching back to Samsung, though I'll definitely miss my Apple Watch, however I might continue to use my Airpod Pro Gen 2's despite the loss of functionality.

I've been playing around with an S22 Ultra for a week now and I can't stand it haha. All the extra stuff i'm not using feels like bloat and the UI does not jive with me(every menu with visuals feels like design vomit). The feel in hand is another issue, it doesn't feel right compared to my 15 Pro Max(I like thicker phones). It's just simply not for me, I could see why people love them though. If I ever switched to Android(not likely, I try every few years and only like iOS more) I would get either a Nothing phone (2) or a Pixel.

I get exactly where you're coming from. I love the feel of my 14 pro max, kind of a fan of the weight too, funnily enough. The haptics on Samsung phones doesn't come close to what iPhones have to offer, same thing with the GPS and NFC chips. Got my 15 pro max, after a couple of weeks I realised the camera takes blurry and unclear photos. Contacted apple, got an express replacement, device has the same issue. Now I’m waiting for the 3rd replacement. Absolutely terrible experience.

If there’s too much going on in a scene (especially in dimmer lighting) or an object is just a little too close to the camera, the camera will get confused and just only focus on one thing (kind of blurring out the rest of the scene) and causing unwanted picture blur. I’ve experienced this as well with my iPhone 15 Plus and according to my research has been a pretty common problem with iPhone cameras for awhile. You need to be careful about how close your camera is to an object and may have to use “tap to focus” sometimes in dimmer lighting

The 15 Plus is nice but one thing I don’t like about it is it being 60Hz

I had the XS Max it was a cool phone at the time. I have a 15PM now. I upgrade every year on lease.
