This looks pretty damn good. Just those flares, but aside from that, log seems to make a pretty significant improvement when shooting low light.

I was wondering if you would recommend upgrading from the 14 Pro ProRES to the 15 Pro for LOG? Also, would you choose the 15 Pro over the 15 Pro Max if you had to choose a phone again to go with? of course 15 pro is better, 14 pro does not have the ability to log

ProRes with LOG isn't useful unless you want to deal with color grading and/or LUTs.

I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max and use the Blackmagic Camera app with all the specifications I've seen in this tutorial and others. However, my videos always have grain, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I understand it might be due to low light in the places I'm recording, but almost all the material has grain. The majority of those using the benefits ProRes video are doing it for small films and not your typical "vlogging" so they use 24-30 fps. 60fps can be edited to look like 120fps in which is only useful for slow-motion. But, the Xperia 1V is definitely a better choice for photographers and cinematography due to its larger IMX 888 sensor and ability to use third-party apps for RAW/LOG video.
