Could be! Although if you read the small print on every phone case manufacturer website that I've ever come across, they all explicitly say that any damage to your device is not covered. The full extent of their liability is the cost of the phone case itself. The sad truth is that drops are inherently unpredictable, and even if you have a case which is certified to withstand drops to a specified height, it is always possible that a phone is going to fall in such a way that it gets damaged anyway...even at a very low height. Part of this is due to the fact that phones may have internal damage that is not visible (perhaps from previous drops that appeared to cause no damage at the time) and then a very small drop can result in a surprising amount of damage.

So, I just tested out all my 15 Pro Max Limitless 5.0 cases (Aramid Fibre, Walnut and Speckled Fabric), and tried squeezing the sides. The bottom half of the sides of the Aramid Fibre case seemed to move very slightly and I suppose that makes a very small noise? But you really have to be looking for it. The other two Limitless 5.0 cases, on the other hand, did not have any perceptible movement in that area and zero noise. So there may be something there...but it is really small and hard to notice. Hope this helps!

Hi Austin! I don't have the Blue Titanium, so it is hard to know for sure, but I would think that the speckled fabric Mous case would look good with it. Black and blue are usually a great combo. And I agree...the Atlantic Blue might clash with the Blue Titanium. Hope this helps!

I have the 5.0 for the 15 pro but the camera bump is only on 3 of the sides and slopes down to flat on the bottom edge but I've seen many people with it like yours with all 4 edges being raised. I'm not sure why there is a discrepancy. Also on mine the power button has such minimal travel it doesn't even feel like I'm pressing anything. Disappointed for the price they are charging in all honesty.

Hi @Captain! So, the reason for the difference in the rear camera coverage is the 15 Pro vs 15 Pro Max. The 15 Pro Max Limitless 5.0 cases have four sided coverage for their rear cameras. For the 15 Pro cases, Mous chose to have only three sides protected for the rear camera in order to improve magsafe accessory compatibility. The rear camera on the 15 Pro is so large in relation to the rest of the phone that it causes problems in the way MagSafe accessories fit. Mous is not alone in this design...other manufacturers, such as Speck, chose to go the same direction. But as far as your side button is concerned, that sounds quite wrong. There shouldn't be an issue with the side button on the Limitless 5.0 for the 15 Pro. If yours isn't working correctly, you should contact Mous... Hope this helps. Thanks!

Hi Richard! Thanks for your kind comments! If the Clarity, with its black sides is not for you, you might want to consider the Speck Presidio Perfect Clear? Or perhaps the RhinoShield Clear? Both have clear sides. I just received the RhinoShield Clear with MagSafe for my 15 Pro and it is a really nice case. Slim, great buttons, not that slippery (all clear cases are somewhat slippery, in my opinion, but this one is not that slick). There is a black ring around the camera, but everything else is clear except the magsafe ring. 11 ft drop protection. The only downside, and this one is pretty major, is that the case is really hard to take off. Extremely tight and stiff. So, for a frequent case changer it is a fail. But if you almost never take off your case, it has a lot to offer. Good luck with your case decision!

It won’t be here until November. And I ordered the. Carbon fiber. Mous case and I already have it I was just wondering is this case better than the carbon fiber case or would you say this other case is better? Even if I don’t get the special adapters just wondering what is your opinion on this case over the carbon fiber version. Hi @Beards! So, I'm a little confused. Are you asking the difference between the Limitless 5.0 Aramid Fibre case and the Evolution IntraLock case (the one you can mount on your bike, etc)? If so, I think they are both great cases. I've been using the Mous IntraLock case on my 15 Pro quite heavily since I got it, and I've been very happy with it. I like the amount of grip on it, and the fact that the back doesn't show fingerprints. The Aramid Fibre Limitless 5.0 is also great, but the beautiful Aramid Fibre backplate does pick up greasy smears and fingerprints, and that kind of drives me crazy. 😊 Is it more protective? Maybe? There is certainly no worry about anything getting in via holes in the back of the case, and Aramid Fibre is a really tough material. But I personally don't need 'Mous level' protection for my iPhone...my iPhone leads a very quiet life. Now, in your situation, you have already purchased the Aramid Fibre Limitless 5.0 and returning stuff is a pain. Plus, the Aramid Fibre case is a little prettier. So, my advice would be to keep the case you already have, unless you suddenly have a desire to have a mountable phone case...in which case the Evolution IntraLock is a great choice. Hope this helps!! I would, as long as people aren't using it in a seriously dusty/dirty/sandy environment where the openings on the back will potentially cause more of a problem. I love the IntraLock case. It's a really pleasing case in the hand, with the perfect amount of low to medium grip for my needs. I'm surrounded by iPhone 15 Pro cases right now (as well as 15 Pro Max cases, but I use the 15 Pro as my daily driver, so the 15 Pro cases are more relevant in this example) and I have been choosing the IntraLock case to use most often. And for whatever reason, Mous tends to discount it more, so you can often get a better deal on it.😊

Hi Claire! What level of drop protection are you looking for? Are you OK with just basic drop protection (such as military standard drop protection at 26 four foot drops) or do you need something higher, like 6 ft, 8 ft, more? 'Extreme protection' like you get from a Mous case? And do you want something with a built in stand, or are you good with a magnetically attached stand that you can take on and off at will? That can expand your case options and cut down on weight. Finally, are you absolutely wedded to the idea of a camera lens protector? Because if you have a high enough lip around the rear camera, I question the need for a rear camera lens protector...

Hi Shilan! Great to hear from you, and congrats on your beautiful new 15 Pro Max! The Speckled Fabric is the grippiest of all the Mous Limitless cases that I've encountered (although I've heard that the Atlantic Blue and Forest Green Limitless 5.0 cases may be equally as grippy, but I don't have any first hand experience with those variants). So if a lot of grip is important to you, then the Speckled Fabric might be a good choice. But personally, I don't like it as much as the other Mous cases. It has almost (but not quite) a sticky feeling to it. And I'm not sure how well the material will hold up over time. My two favorite Mous cases are the Limitless 5.0 in Aramid Fibre and the Evolution IntraLock case. I never actually mount the IntraLock case onto anything...I just like the look and feel of the case. The network of tiny grooves on the back of the case give you a nice amount of grip, and it never shows any fingerprints, unlike its close cousin the Aramid Fibre Limitless 5.0...which tends to show greasy fingerprints pretty clearly. Both cases have exactly the same sides, with the rippled grip ribs, and they have a pleasant, low to medium grip in the hand. The Aramid Fibre Limitless 5.0 case looks fancier as long as you keep any fingerprints wiped off, but I think the Evolution IntraLock case looks cool as well. Of course, if you are using your phone in dirty places, the holes on the back of the IntraLock could pose a problem in terms of particles getting inside, and I suppose that if the grooves on the back of the case get dirty, it might be hard to get the dirt out. But I never use my phone in places with hazards like that, so it's never been a problem for me. Hope this helps, and good luck with your case decision!

Hi Adnan! I think the walnut Limitless 5.0 cases are the slipperiest of the bunch. If I were you, I'd go with the Aramid Fibre version, even though it is a bit of a fingerprint magnet. It's the toughest of the bunch. The Mous IntraLock cases are also very good and have a nice amount of grip...they are great cases even if you never use their mounting functionality. Hope this helps! Hi Carlos! If you are looking for the Limitless 5.0 case with the grippiest backplate, that would be the Speckled Fabric. (The sides of the Limitless 5.0 cases are all the same). The Speckled Fabric has an almost tacky sort of feel...quite a bit of grip, though. My favorite of the Mous cases is actually the Evolution IntraLock case, because the backplate is so great against fingerprints and wear in general. The sides of the IntraLock case are identical to those of the Limitless 5.0, with the same nice texture and rippled grip ribs. But the back is just polycarbonate with a series of narrow grooves all across the back which give it a bit more grip and texture and are extremely fingerprint resistant. Fingerprints drive me crazy, so clear cases are never a favorite, or anything with a soft touch finish or glossy finish. The aramid fibre variant of the Limitless 5.0 has a fantastic look and feel, but it shows fingerprints, so I can never use it for very long. And the wood versions are the most slippery of those that I have tested out (no experience with the leather versions for the past several years, and I haven't gotten a chance to check out the new blue and green options either). As far as a comparison between the Speck Presidio2 Grip and the Mous cases, I think they are both great options. I've used the Mous Evolution IntraLock case quite a lot since I got my 15 Pro...it is definitely one of my go-to cases. And after I reviewed the Presidio2 Grip a few weeks ago, I brought it along on vacation with me and used it exclusively for a week. Really enjoyed having it on my phone overall...the amount of grip is pretty perfect for me, and I love the blue color of the sample Speck sent out to me. Excellent fit on the phone as well. But the soft touch finish of the Presidio2 cases shows more fingerprints than I would like, and I took it off after I got home. If I had to choose either the Presidio2 Grip or the Evolution IntraLock for long term use, I'd go with the Evolution IntraLock. It's a tough call, though!!

Hi! The Speckled Fabric is going to have more grip than the Aramid Fibre…it has almost a slightly tacky feel to it, whereas the Aramid Fibre has a softer, silkier feel. But the Aramid Fibre Limitless 5.0 is going to be a bit more protective than the Speckled Fabric. If I had to choose one of the two, I’d go with the Aramid Fibre. It shows greasy fingerprints pretty easily, but that’s the only major drawback. And with the 15 Pro Max version, I think you will not have issues with the amount of rear camera protection. The 15 Pro version, on the other hand, has camera protection on only 3 sides, so there is a little more to be worried about there. That much said, I’ve used the Limitless 5.0 Aramid Fibre case on my 15 Pro very happily and have had zero issues. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching!

I ordered the clear case and decided to return it right after I put it on. There is no camera clearance when you put your phone flat. I mean the camera is really touching the surface! It’s a fuking 70 dollar case. I believe that the case model is from the older iPhone which is not made for iPhone 15 pro max. I love how it feels in my hands, but I can’t trust that case. I love it as much as I hate it.

Hi Han Zhao! Yep, the Clarity 2.0 has truly minimal rear camera protection. The model last year was the same, however. Super minimal rear camera protection. However, I will say that when the iPhone 15 Pro Max is lying on its back in the Clarity 2.0 case on a flat surface, the rear camera lenses are not actually touching the the surface. They are incredibly close, but not touching. I tested it. But the clearance is hair thin, or even less. Not quite sure why Mous wants to be so minimal there!

Hi Marc! Lovely to hear from you. So, the sides of all the Limitless 5.0 cases are the same (as are the sides of the Evolution IntraLock case). They are textured plastic and have rippled grip ribs partway up the sides which give the cases a comfortable grip in the hand. The Speckled Fabric backplate material is a polyurethane coated fabric and it does give greater grip to the back of the case, but it is a slightly odd type of grip...almost a tacky feeling grip. The Aramid Fibre, on the other hand, has an almost velvety feel to it. Very pleasant, and grippier than the wood options (walnut and bamboo), but not as grippy as the Speckled Fabric. If I had to choose between the two, I'd probably go with the Aramid Fibre, although the fingerprints on the Aramid Fibre start to drive me nuts after a while. My personal favorite of all those cases is the Evolution IntraLock. The series of small grooves on the back of the case gives you some grip, and it shows zero fingerprints. Lovely little case, even if you never use the mounting function. Of course, I might feel differently if I used it in dirty or dusty places, as the mounting holes on the back do have the possibility of letting in dirt/dust/sand. But my phone leads a very protected life, so I never worry too much about dirt getting in my phone cases.😊 Hope this helps!

@@TheTechReviewer got the Aramid fiber and tried it out for a couple days. Very good quality case. I returned it. For one the grip on the sides is a low grip to me. And the aramid back much too slippery. I like a case with great gripage on the sides like the Caudabe Synthesis.

I watched your videos about 20 times as well as others lol as well as going on Reddit and reading every single comment I could about these cases and the only things wrong with them I could find is that sometimes the leather cases can peel a little bit but it’s rare and the buttons sort of rattle when you shake the phone but it’s not as bad as when your phone is in the case because it pushes out the buttons a little bit. oh and some people were saying that they’re back glass on their phones were breaking with these cases but I can’t remember what model iPhone that was. There’s one review where it took 44 drops for an iPhone to break with a mouse case and all it was was a little rock got between where the screen protector meets the glass of the phone and it chipped the glass of the phone but that’s about it, I kind of would like it if the lip was all the way around equally as high like on an OtterBox defender but I just want to try something different. And these are now the same price as an OtterBox defender in Canada around 80-90 dollars.

I'm so happy that you found my content to be helpful in making your buying decision! It's not an inexpensive purchase, so you need to do your research, for sure. As far as the lower middle lip, I have to say that I enjoy the way it feels to be able to swipe so smoothly from side to side. I've been using the IntraLock case quite a lot on my 15 Pro (and besides the back panel differences, the IntraLock case is just the same as the Limitless 5.0) and I've really been enjoying it. Those rippled grip ribs give me a great grip on the sides, and the case overall is really pleasing. Hope you love your new case!!

They advertise to dispatch orders within one business day… I ordered on Oct 4th and still not notified any about my order. On top of that I still need to wait for their 4 - 10 business day shipping. Mous is lazy and they don’t care about your orders coming in a timely manner unless you pay for faster shipping.

Hi @Beards! I had someone else ask me a similar question. I tried squeezing all my Limitless 5.0 cases for my 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, and I did notice that my 15 Pro Max Aramid Fibre case seemed to move very slightly on the sides when I squeezed it in a way that the other 15 Pro Max variants did not. None of the 15 Pro Limitless 5.0 cases exhibited this behavior either. No idea if this is related to what you are talking about...it is a very slight movement and it doesn't really make a noise. Honestly, I wouldn't squeeze my phone in that way in any normal situation ...I really don't think it is an issue. Hope this helps!

In the world of Mous, I think the IntraLock case that we talked about before is another good case choice that you might want to consider. But you also might want to wait until your phone arrives and then try out the Limitless 5.0 case and see if you like it. The one caveat is that their return policy seems to be for 30 days from delivery, so you might run into a date issue there...

Hi @Beards! I haven't gotten a chance to see the Atlantic Blue in person, but I've heard that it is grippy like the Speckled Fabric Limitless 5.0. So, if you really want a case with a very grippy back, then that might be a good choice. However, it is hideously overpriced in my opinion...and for no other reason than scarcity. Personally, I'd choose the IntraLock Evolution case. It's a great case, and you will save $35 over the price of the Atlantic Blue Limitless 5.0!

Hi Kristin I don’t drop my phone hardly ever. I’m 70 so I tend to get a little anal about things. Pop socket is too bulky. I’ve been using a casekoo with a round kickstand. As far as the rear camera, I was thinking more about dust, dirt. I usually sit my phone face down so the lip would be needed by screen. I value what you do, so I’ll go with what you say. Hi Claire! I personally never use camera lens protectors...I think as long as you have a decent lip around the rear camera, you will be fine. (Of course, if I used my phone at the beach or in another place with a lot of abrasive particles, I would feel differently. ) For the screen, I do always use a screen protectors because I can't stand the idea of my screen getting scratched up. FLOLAB makes some nice and very easy to install screen protectors...that's the only brand I've gotten a chance to check out so far for the 15 Pro/Pro Max. ZAGG is typically excellent as well. You might want to consider a built in stand like the ones on CASETiFY's Impact Ring Stand. I've been using one of those for the past week, and the built in stand is remarkably useful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kH-8hKyrbdxjqZo It's going to give you lots of lip for your rear camera, and there is a good amount of lip around the screen as well. Nice amount of grip on the sides, and you can customize the heck out of it with prints or custom text. 😊 Drop protection is 6.6 ft.

Very nice cases. Too bad about the camera bumps on that clear case. I still love my Prodigy clear case with MagSafe magnets and I finally got a MagSafe charger, the OtterBox for $16 Canadian with a 6.6 foot Cable, what a good deal, not too much heat, It’s pretty nice and I think I’m going to use it as I think it is capped at only 7.5 W

Hi! Yeah, the Clarity is a beautiful case but that amount of camera protection does give me pause! But, if you are very careful with your phone, it is probably fine. And of course, the iPhone is sold as being able to be used without a case or screen protector (although that makes me very nervous to even think about!) Glad you are still enjoying your Prodigy case!!
