I have upgraded to the iPhone 15PM from 13PM and have loved the experience (although I do agree that the bump in speed isn’t obvious thanks to the 13PM already being a super fast and powerful phone with a pro-motion display). What I have enjoyed is being able to plug my phone to a variety of USB-C devices, e.g. data projectors and hard drives. I love being able to take higher res photos and do different crops without losing quality and really into the 5x zoom, the quality of which exceeded my expectation. 5gen Smart HDR is also a visible upgrade, I would say. Another noticeable improvement over the 13PM is better connectivity.

Coming from the 12 pro max the difference is pretty negligible in the real world, but the ever so slightly reduced chunkiness, and buttery smooth operation makes it a pretty nice upgrade. It feels like an iPhone, it operates like an iPhone, it’s an iPhone, there’s nothing necessarily jaw dropping about it, especially compared to previous models, but it just works. The iPhone 15 is worth it if it’s convenient for you to do so, but I certainly wouldn’t tell someone it’s a phone you have to go out of your way to buy if you already have a 12-14 Pro Max.

Looks like a fantastic phone/setup. Originally I pre-ordered the 15 Pro Max in Titanium. The ship date kept getting moved further and further out. During that time reports were hitting about the supposed screen burn in and overheating issues. I wasn't wanting to wait until late November or early December for what I had ordered. Cancelled the order and headed to the Apple Store. After it was all said and done, traded in my 12 Mini for a new 13. In all honesty, I was really happy I did so. Instead of $1600 I walked out for less that $600. Perfectly happy with the 13 and my walled. It buys me another cycle or two to see what they do. I am envious of the camera though...

I recently upgraded to a 1TB iPhone 15 Pro Max in blue from a 256GB iPhone 12 Pro. Very happy I upgraded. One thing I discovered by accident was I placed my phone on my pant leg with the camera app open. I noticed it went into macro mode and focused on my jeans from a very close difference. I’m talking individual fibers! It’s crazy good! My 12 Pro would never do this. The capabilities of taking images from all of the rear camera lenses is seriously impressive. I’m not even hearing anyone talk about the macro performance.

I just ordered this as an "upgrade" from my S22 ultra. I flip-flop back and forth between iPhone and Samsung every few years. Usually, that's based on deals I'm offered and can't pass up. I'm not a fanboy of either one, cause they both offer something different, and both make great products. They each have their own unique mixture of things I like. We're a household of mixed brands and ecosystems though. We have Windows PCs and Macs. We have iPhones and Androids. We have iPads and android tablets. Same goes for gaming consoles. We have them all. I think it's silly to be brand loyal for things like this, cause it's almost always superficial or subjective reasons why people act that way. I could've waited a few months for the s24 ultra that's coming, but I have 5 lines and have more than one upgrade available. So, I can still order one if I'd rather have that, and give this one to one of my kiddos. I got this one because of a deal on my upgrade that made no impact on my monthly bill. In fact, it made it a few bucks cheaper. 😂

I killed my 14 pro with the fast charger I believe. Down to 87% after 13 months. So with my plan I can upgrade every year so I jumped to the 15 pro max. Absolutely love it. My battery is amazing with 8 hrs plus sot. Only using MagSafe currently overnight so it’s only 15 watts. Love the camera too it’s amazing as usual. And so light in the hand!

I purchased a MagSafe charger and I have never used it, always had reservations about using it. I have the 14 pro max and my battery just changed from 100% to 98 % after 3 years of owning it.

tmobile. If you have their jump on demand, you can switch after one year, OR you have paid of 50% of your device. Fine print is you have to have their insurance but I would never buy or finance without insurance. @@rebathomas3704

My 15 pro max gets pretty hot, but it did not ever "overheat". I downloaded Resident Evil Village and played it with a PS5 controller over bluetooth for about 15 minutes with no case on, and the phone was extremely hot to the touch. I've never felt a phone get that hot. I didn't get a warning, but the game did crash a few times (probably just the game). I do love the 15 pro max though!

USB C is definitely more valuable than you think, universal standards are always better and more convenient than whatever proprietary shit companies come up with. As for whether to upgrade or not, always skip at least 3 generations before switching, so from 12 and earlier its worth it. If not, wait for 17 Pro Max.

Why would you use maps on your commute? You always get lost? I believe that is a battery drain for nothing ….please elaborate on that front …. I’m still on an iPhone 13 Pro. I was thinking of upgrading to the 15 pro. I don’t mind the small battery…since I mainly use the phone for phone things …I don’t consume content like KZbin on the phone …that’s for the iPad. So battery life would last I think an entire day. But I think you’re right …I can hold off until the 16 pro.

i tried testing the iphone 15PM at a store i was at, and i noticed that selfies kinda take 5seconds or more to clear out and come to their final form and quality. Does this happen every time when taking selfies and generally photos? or is it just the selfie camera? p.s.: the pics were crystal clear at the end

I love my 13 pro, but one question bothers me for a long time. How the most innovative phone became the most non innovative one? I upgraded from the IPhone 11 to the 15 pro max. With the 11 I had no issue what so ever however with the pro max I love the brighter screen in the day. My job requires me to be out some times in the sun for inspections. So being able to see what I'm typing and researching is very important. Plus the camera quality is massive because I have to submit pics for reports. This upgrade for me is what I needed. I love the content you submit. Thanks Lee

@@harunasuso4070apple ecosystem is great & you should start with getting AirPods first and then watch & mac & I’m sure you’ll love the overall experience but again remember Apple ecosystem is two edge sword because once you enter in apple ecosystem it will become hard for you to leave & switch back to android again because it’s that good & expensive also😅. I personally have iPhone, Macbook, Watch, iPad & AirPods but in my country these products are over expensive.

Multitasking and so many other issues are more easy with android than iOS. I can’t freely download musics and use my laptop as I used to before. iOS is so restricted and that’s my only headache.

I’m not unhappy with my upgrade. The weight and feel difference is definitely the biggest upgrade for me. I didn’t notice it the first day somehow. But I also love the usb-c(because I have a Mac, iPad Pro, Samsung work phone, car vacuum, etc on usb-c). I also use the Action button a little! A very little 😂

I think I would prefer Android, I literally have widgets that mimic my phone wallpaper so I can order my icons in the way that I want, however I love my apple watch and that's basically requiring me to have an iphone. I love how the back glass feels on the 15, and I looked at it under a microscope at 50x and you can see the surface is covered in about a million microscopic domes (half spheres).

If you don’t care about the action button, usb c, gaming performance or thinner bezels u could easily go for a 15 plus or if 120hz is really a big deal to you even last year 14 pro could be a better choice.
