Great video! I’m pretty sure you can lock exposure in settings so it won’t auto expose, or disable auto white balance also in videos .

I picked up the 512 which is plenty fine but I do kinda wish I grabbed the 1tb instead. It’s the Newwer mini tripod. I did a video on it not too long ago if you look at my channel. It’s pretty great

With the native camera app you don’t really have any controls over your exposure besides exposure compensation so it’s designed for auto pretty much and does a good job. Also the waveform scopes look great in post before converting to rec709 it’s not all stretched out like most smartphones usually are

Honestly lack of wide lense improvement feeling like so much lost potential, I mean why not just do better wide angle camera? for some people like me it's very important and they just ignored it, also interesting to know how is thermal performance on iPhone 15 pro max, many people saying that it's heating up extremely, for me it's one of the most important things, I am tired of my Xperia Pro I hot potato,sometimes it so hot that even didn't let me record footage If the phone is too hot 😢

For me the massive improvement with lens flares, better color science and ProRes Log being available on the ultrawide makes it a big improvement. As far as overheating I filmed all day and experienced zero. I’ve had issues in the past with restoring from iCloud backups so this time I activated the phone from scratch and it runs amazing.

Actually, Apple was on the committee which created USB-C. Unfortunately, whereas lightning was a male plug, USB-C's plug is a female enclosed in a high-tolerance jacket (so no more docks since blind docking is so difficult). I have _no_ idea why USB is so committed to female plugs.
