iPhone 15 Pro Review: My last Pro iPhone.

Here after I would avoid iPhones. Bought my 1st iPhone (13) after using android over a decade. But the experience is not better than android, sometimes even worse. For a phone which costs over 70k (while launching), you can’t expect such things. And yes, the pathetic lens flare, green screen issues which apple doesn’t want to address and buggy updates makes me think I made a wrong decision and should have gone with a Samsung or one plus . Nevertheless, will use this phone for a few years as I need to extract every bit of juice for the money I paid. But yes, android has come a long way and offers better value for money than apple.

Me being from an alternate universe, have been frustrated by Pixel, and have decided to never buy Pixel again. And, honestly, I don't like any other skins. So I'll switch to iOS.

Ios 17 is much better than ios16 hands down..ios 16 was very buggy . Even i hate that but i found same or more buggy software on samsung midrange phones and that makes me calm

I’ll likely upgrade to the regular 15 next year from the 13 mini unless I end up not being able to give up this form factor. I wouldn’t use any of the pro features, I don’t care about 120hz, I don’t want my phone getting really hot, and I prefer the mute switch to the action button.

Same I have a 13 mini which I love. The only reason I would consider the 15 Pro over the 15 is the faster USB C port. I prefer the weight and price of the base 15. I prefer the mute rocker on the base 15. I don’t NEED 120hz or the extra camera and I don’t care about titanium or colours because I use a case. If the base 15 had the faster usb c port I would get it instantly.

i avoid the Pros only because of the action button. iPhone most distinct feature has always been the mute switch. and the AB can only b mapped to one action at a time (hope a SW update can solve that) so this year it's the 15 Plus for me for mute switch and the forever battery life. One more wish is that apart from Face ID there should b an FP option. No comment on the split screen?

I got the 15 pro here in Australia and don’t use the Raw or fast data transfer….buuuut I love the high refresh rate screen and the Always on Display with a photo, can Samsung/Google do that? Imo agree with you, at that price point not worth it for most but like you I LOVE it (:

Hi Rohit, now a days phones are becoming bulky, with cases even more. Is it safe to use Skins on smartphones which have plastic body, plastic doesn't shutter like glass. what you suggest.

But the front glass is still glass. And with oleds it is expensive to repair. If you are careful with your phones skins are better option to stop the phone from scratching and keeping it light.

I am still sticking to my iPhone 12 Pro Max. You’re right, Apple is pricing the Pros out of the market in India - at some point, it becomes hard to be spending around 1.5 lakhs on a frigging phone even if you can afford it! On the flip side though, once you get used to taking Pro Raw photos, it is so hard to go to regular ones! So when I do upgrade my phone next year, it will be hard to go for iPhone 16 Plus instead of the Pro Max.

i bought iphone 15 pro max recently because of ability to update ios for long period of time. my ipad pro 9.7 2016 still upgrade able until now 2023. The iphone 15 pro max also have awesome long lasting battery. Compare with android the most os can be upgrade is 3, 4 years, maybe?

If Apple gave us AOD and atleast 90Hz "NonPro" motion display, I'd never buy the Pro. The Pro is an upsell for Apple and I hate that they hold back features on purpose from the regular models. Apple also backed themselves into a corner by naming 120hz "ProMotion". Now how can the put this feature on the regular? If they'd called it "SmoothMotion" it wouldn't matter as much.

Regarding ProMotion: it will be coming to base models starting with iPhone 17. Mark my words. This is genuinely the only "Pro" feature I care about. In the meantime, the base iPhone 15 is great.

And that's why they will leave it in pro phones only.... Promotion isn't something that will help sell more of the base phone and it's not something the average person cares about. But the ones who do care, it gets you paying for a pro.

It depends, if you need battery and bigger screen 15 plus without a doubt. 15 Pro for high refresh rate and telephoto lens only.

I think 16 base model will have 120Hz display next year and pro models assembly in India may start from next year so diffrence will be not that big

Depends on your priority and budget.i saved my money and went for pixel 7 over iphone 13 because of camera which u can't get in 30k segment,those who wants a performance centric phone will invariably choose iphone due to bionic chip.depends.smartphones r becoming expensive and 30k segment is not as attractive as it used to be

iphones are just a fad and status symbol for most. Some people think that they need an iphone to be part of the society. Apple really started this elitism behavior coz of their premium pricing. My last iphone was a 13 Pro and it was great. But I decided to switch to Android and no complaints at all. I have an S23 Ultra and a macbook air. I am not into ecosystem since it is not really a problem for me.

Are you using it for adventures and sports like Apple advertises it or are you just using it for better battery life? Same thing with iPhone Pro models. People buy them coz they want the best iPhone. @@vamos419 I bought Apple watch ultra because of better battery life, lte and durability. I don't carry my phone all the time because I am testing other phones and even then the watch lasts me over 2 days. None of the smartest watches in the world can do it. So yeah it works for my use case.

All gimmick... I sold my 14 pro in a month coz found no value in that phone at all for spending close to a lac on it...! Like what did it do that the other 60k phones can't!! Why should I spend double on a phone just to click a few raw pictures and get 120hrz display..!! Whatelse does that phone offer to warrant that price tag... In fact I just for experience got pixel 7 in BBD sale at 35k and I found nothing, absolutely nothing better on the 14 pro... And I love pixels so when I got a deal on pixel 8 at 54k on olx, I just got it... Finally a perfect phone .. Perfect display, brilliant cameras and great processor... Battery that lasts the entire day and more and no heating whatsoever... On that it looks so classy in Rose colour specially for a girl, I found the pink on iPhone 15 a little tacky for my taste.. I love this size on a phone and the pixel 8 ticks all the right boxes..!!

Just got my 15 pro last week. Yet i use my 15K vivo as my primary phone. Using android since the beginning. By the way the 15 pro is an amazing phone i love how it is physically 🤌🏼
