Seriously, Iphone looks "sharper"? This is just a stupid "unsharp mask" effect applied, and has nothing to do with the actual detail resolved by the lens / sensor. You can apply this sharpening in Photoshop, or in fact in any editing app, to achieve this signature, early 2000s plastic digital camera vibe, proudly presented to you by the latest 2023 premium smartphone.

yeah its so sad that these reviewers have no idea what they are talking about. Every photo from the iPhone is digitally edited before its saved.. The actual photo from any dedicated camera is gonna vastly outperform the iPhone in terms of detail. Anyone can add sharpening to the photo in post nowadays.

zve10 with kit lens = 60000 INR ..... iphone15 pro max (128gb varient) = 1,50,000 INR ... this is the cost difference in terms of indian rupees... if you want to pursue photography ..i think buying zve10 + a good lens (like tamron) would be much more productive.

IPhone 15 pro is more expensive than ZV-E10 😅. for daily use, of course a phone camera is more handy. The quality of iPhone 15 pro footages is good enough, and the stabilisation isbway better than ZV-E10 which you need gimbal to be stable enough. For photo definitely bigger sensor in ZV-E10 wins.

11mm for architecture, and for portrait you can use any of the sigma trio 16mm, 30mm or 56mm. You can also use the sigma 18-50mm

Wow... Looking at my small screen, the iPhone 15 pro AI processing pictures are actually very good compared to the Sony ZV E-10. But I would like to see a comparison of the pictures on an 8x10 print or perhaps a 24x36 poster. I supposed the 24 mp Sony can see every thread in your dress. As an enthusiast I would prefer to invest on a lens (sigma trio perhaps) than a 1400 USD iphone. But that just me. BTW, nice video

to me if your going to buy 3 lenses you should buy the sony zv or if you only have the 1000 dollars and dont want to spend more get the iphone. the one drawback about the iphone is that you cant make it better then what it is with new lenses or transfer those lenses to a new camera body

even if you could use the back camera, getting professionel gear is always better than the phone. The guy in this video didnt even come close to test the zv-e10 to its fullest potential, filming in daily midsun scenarios says nothing about the difference of both "cameras"

Really bad comparison. No camera enjoyer is using a straight out picture from the camera without editing. Also, you say it is sharper on iPhone. You can do it on any editing software. These photos you compare from the iPhone are put through the AI processing. You should edit the photo from Sony to be more fair. I used a lot of high-end phones (s23, ip15 pro max, xiaomi 12s ultra, huawei...). These pictures have one of the same problems: sensor limitation, no matter how good the software is, it always looks fake but good enough for most people. Zoom in make you want vomit yourself or try to show on big screen. I know you can do better than this. Common. And that len, throw it away. Apologize for my complaint.

Hello, nice comparison here, thank you. For my home movies my favorite is Insta360 One inch sensor, and all photos with ZV-e10 with Sony 15mm F1,4/Sigma 56mm F1,4/ Sony 70-350 for something special. For sure using my Note 10+ Samsung all the time too.

I want to shoot dance videos which includes fast moves Does zve-10 good for that I don't want to invest on other lenses for now My major concern is about, it has limit of 30 fps, and I don't know about that, to capture fast moves 30 fps good or not Also i am going to use keyframing which means i am going to zoom it also. ZV-E10 is not good for sports; Dance Video will be fine, i have seen people make K-pop dance video on it. But it must be on a gimbal. ZV-E10 can do 120fps/60fps but only in 1080p. Iphone can do 4k 60fps. Key-framing in 4K will be fine on both, zoom in 50%, footage still fine. Between the iphone and this camera; it is hard to choose..😞. But i always go for camera to shoot freelance work which needs longer recording session. If your dance video is short reel to be posted on tiktok/instagram only. Best to choose iphone 14.

colors on the sony look so much better, also the image of the iphone is so oversharpened, it just doesnt look natural.. i dont even know why people do these comparsions, the iphone has a great camera but its just a phone after all and will never replace professionel gear not to mention that you didnt even test the zv-10 to its fullest potential.. all these tests make 0 sense, i mean clearly the iphone uses software to enhance their images, if i do the same to the camera it will also look much better. also, doesnt matter the camera, small pixel size will always result in better lowlight as a smaller sensor will be much more stady than a bigger.

Thanks sir, I exposed it at +2.0 stop, and shoot with PP7 SLOG 2. I am using Sony’s own SLOG 2 input lut too. I downloaded from their website. Would be glad to make a tutorial in future😁😁I used to be only using HLG3 , but SLOG2 seems really good once I expose correctly
