Most Americans don't know that the iPhone is actually really cheap in the US. Outside the US they are a lot more expensive. In my country, the iPhone 16 base model is starting at USD1400 for 128gb. The iPhone 16 Pro is USD1800 for 256gb. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is over USD2000 for 256gb

As a videographer - pro res recording is the main reason i switch to iphone since the launch of 15pm … Apple taking the video department seriously is appreciated .Pro res is super important .. i can fill the short scene gaps using my 15pm.. especially in a situation where its hard to handle a 300+ gram dslr setup… Samsungs galaxy series are also a great phone . Even better than iphone in photography .. But i gotta be honest iphone video department is atleast 1 generation ahead in terms of video focus consistency , speed and Pro res /log HQ

I just switched from a 12 Pro Max to a 16 Pro Max. My coworker with a 15 Pro Max asked me if it’s worth the switch. I told him not at all. Apple sells software more than they sell hardware. I told him from the first iPhone keynote Steve Jobs said “If you’re passionate about software, you have to make your own hardware”. Reason I switched from Android to iPhone is because iPhones are smartphones while Androids are phones for smart people. Apple sells stability and simplicity which is what I started wanting from my phone at a certain point. I want it to just work optimally without too many features I feel the need to tune or enable. Every year they just upgrade build quality and performance more than cutting edge features, they only add features when they have to and find a simplistic execution for, that’s their model. I do miss android sometimes but I’d only get one next to my iPhone cause iPhones are just way less of a headache when it comes to the ratio of optimization:user tuning. So I told him if you really feel like getting a new phone get another Android phone next to yours you already have a phone the provides what Apple sells, it just works.

@ IDC abt the hype tbh if I did I’d get the new ROG phone. Simply put Apple device need less setup to do more stuff. Android doesn’t have the same features it has more features, but it needs setting up. I’m the type of dude who will search up tutorials on YT on how to utilize command prompt to unlock more performance from my PC, change registry entries to optimize wifi performance. That’s not what I want from my phone though. iPhone treats me like I’m stupid and I like that cause I just want it to have everything ready for me that’s all. So I guess yeah it’s the UI. i mean you can use the back tap feature on iphones above 8 plus to do that. just set it up in settings and you just need to double tap the apple logo to open an app or basically anything. you can also triple tap to open something else.

S24 is a "regular" flagship, one of the best while apple added 2 extra buttons, one of which is great but the other one is completly useless and noone should use it, because if you press it to take a picture it makes the phone turn and the photo you just took IS NOT sharp. It also adds 2 extra points of failure for water damage if the rubberized rings come loose in the future... edit: fixed 2 spelling errors

Talking about swipe gestures on a button. Samsung a7 2018 had a power button with fingerprint scanner and you had possibility to turn on gesture that allowed to open task bar by swipe. That was very cool because you shouldn't tap the top of the screen to open the task bar

Still holding onto my 13 mini. Mostly because I love this size of device and because I don’t wanna spend $800 when my phone still works just fine. Yes its possible and its unbelievably stupid but heres how. 1- Download the Video and when it shows the share menu press on "Save to Files" 2- Open up Files App 3- Locate the Video 4- Hold down on the video until you find add to shared album 5- Make a shared album and add the video 6- go into photos app find the video in the shared album. 7- FINALLY, Click share icon then save video. Then it will save to the photos.

Don't call it Apple Intelligence... That's a oxymoron. Just call it AI. Apple just changed the screen very slightly, added a button and, as usual, changed the cameras and that's all for launch. They are all about buzz words. "Studio mics" "Ceramic Shield" "Bionic" CPU "Taptic Engine". They want to give their customers a feeling that a plain old oled screen is something special by calling it a "retina" display. Their next screen types will probably be named after another part of the human eye likw the "Macula Display"
