absolutely not. i’m not a big dude and it’s the perfect size. battery life lasting about 1 day and a half with heavy usage on 12 hour shifts.

I prefer the bigger phone. I went from 14 PM down to 15 Pro last year and regretted it. I missed the screen size and battery and I have long fingers and aging eyes. Wife wanted the 15 Pro. I gave it to her and traded her 13 in on the 16PM so I’m happy🤗.

Upgraded from the XS Max (256gb in gold) to the 16 Pro Max (512gb in natural titanium). I was rather concerned about the size as well, but now, after a week and a half-ish of use, I can say I love it. It was truly not that big of an adjustment. + The max has more battery life and it is something I really, REALLY appreciate. Contrary wise, I find the camera control very useful - granted I’m not a professional photographer, but it’s nice to have that extra function! + You can also program it to open instagram. Great video!

I have the 16PM for a couple weeks now. I upgraded from a 13 pro. It’s a little big but I’m getting used it. Even though I feel it’s the same design as my 13 pro (let’s be real, it is a 3+year old design lol) I think this 16 pro max is the final and super refined version of this design. Some things that catch my eye; -the thin bezels are phenomenal. Almost non existent. -the camera clicker is AWESOME and I don’t understand the lackadaisical feelings going around about it. I’m already super used to it and find it VERY useful. I love it! -battery is amazing. -runs cool even though I game on it quite a bit Overall I’m very happy with this thing. I will be keeping it (hopefully) many years to come.

Keeping this one and getting a new one would help a lot just because I really want this new one to last a lot longer in case I don’t end up trading it in for awhile

I like the 16 pro max. I use the camera button but only to open the camera app. Using the camera button as a slider is just too finicky. For example, it’s not easy to change modes. It’s much easier just to tap the screen. I’ve also been experiencing some minor bugs with iOS 18.01 but I guess that’s to be expected with a new release. Edit to add, the physical dimensions with cases is close to identical between my old 7 plus and 16 pro max so it didn’t take much getting used to at all size wise

Just got a 16 Pro, my first Pro ever, I was always a regular model guy, and I’m pretty happy with it. The Max just seemed too big! Although I wonder if its size makes camera control slightly more manageable? I’ve used it a few times already, as a quick point-and-shoot clicker it works pretty well, but if you want to do more fine tuning, it’s definitely a bit cumbersome. I’m still mostly ok with it, tbh

@JonAdamsTech I do recommend trying out both, iPhone and Android, to decide which do you like better. Pros: BTW I use a Z Fold 5 1. I love how Android has face ID and touch ID(my favorite feature on android) 2. The S Pen 3. The multitasking 4 apps at a time on the screen is awesome 4. Gaming experience(like CODM) is insane Cons: 1. When you try to speak to message, the mic messages up your message or doesn't get all of it 2. The screen glitches on certain apps 3. If you want to read back what you wrote on your messages, before sending, it takes forever 4. The cams suck 5. Bixby... isn't Siri with personality 6. As you type at times, like I'm doing now to write this comment, the screen glitches, and if I don't hold the device at a different angle, yeah the screen will turn, but I would lose my place where I left off typing(if that makes sense) 7. The play store is, how I describe as, not organized, and the apps don't function right at times 8. In my experience, not just the Z Fold, but other androids, are more at risk of viruses; and then I get messages on my phone that are promos for virus tech(which honestly, by eyeing the links, they don't look legit 9. The calls drop at times With the times I've had an iPhone in the past Pros: 1. I loved how much you can do on iMessage 2. Music sounds amazing(I am a Spotify user; also I get extra stock when I use my Stash(Stock Back) card 3. I love how clean the display is as well as the widgets 4. Just from hearing about in the last 2 years, it seems like Apple is trying to make the iPhone more customizable, like the dynamic island features, like the notch on the side of the iPhone, that you can set to whatever app or something, and currently, the cam slider! 5. The camera. Android, like the S24 ultra, has a great cam, but in the long run I believe Apple will have the best camera, that will surpass the S Ultra series Cons: I honestly don't see one, except for maybe small things that ppl say about iPhone, so, I'll just say this, you'll see cons if that's something you look for, and that's in anything you do or buy in life, or in your job, etc Overall: I choose to switch because I think Apple holds the key to something that the world has never seen... at least not yet. Ppl say Apple is behind android, but that's because ppl choose to see that Apple is behind, and it may be true, but the way I see it, Apple is taking their time to get their tech right. Apple is the future!

Max is great but I prefer the 16 Pro. Coming from the 15 Pro Max the 16 Pro feels absolutely amazing in the hand. I’m rocking it naked. Battery on the 16 Pro is also right there with my 15 Pro Max. Very impressed with the battery on the 16 Pro. The 6.3” display is plenty big enough and fits so much better in hand and pockets. :)

After having it though I am enjoying the camera button which frees up the action button to be used for something else. I won’t lie about slightly missing the larger display but like you said..your brain adapts and I just feel the comfort of the 16 Pro over the Max outweighs the small difference in display size.

I know that 16 Pro Max is bigger than my regular 15, but I am still thinking about getting an iPad mini for preaching and daily use. Do you think the difference in screen size between the iPad mini and the iPhone 15 is enough to have both devices? There's obviously enough size difference between my phone and current iPad 9th gen, but that iPad might be going to my daughter for her digital artwork.

There is definitely a noticeable difference. Preaching from an iphone isn't fun, ive tried it. But i can definitely make an ipad mini work for that. I think I remember you saying you preach directly from Logos? Thats what i do and with the resizable text size it is fine. I still love the 13 for backing way up from the pulpit and being able to see my notes clearly.

Broken record, I know, but the camera control BUTTON just feels wonky to me. My hand already gets achy from hold my 15PM, so think 6.7" is about as big as I want to go. Fun fact: I picked up the 15PM in mid-December last and I am still at 100% battery health! Thanks for the video! Edit: I charge via MagSafe 80% of the time. I only plug it in in the car for wired CarPlay.

@JonAdamsTech it was weird the first time I held the phone in my hand but I think it’s interesting how you can zoom by scrolling (sliding your finger) and for me it’s easier to access the camera. I almost would want to see the volume buttons change to something similar to the camera button, just 1 button that scrolls. I wish I could use the camera button to scroll when it’s not in camera mode too so I could see other uses for it but I like the concept of it and I don’t mind the positioning of it

So you’ve used the camera button 0 times but you don’t like it. I guess I wonder how you know? I assume you’re over embellishing to add some interest to the video. Maybe try really hard for a month to get used to it. That would be a more credible opinion. I was skeptical the first couple weeks but have found if you quit thinking of it as a shutter button which is easy to push, instead squeeze the phone with your thumb and finger. After a little practice it’s pretty easy to get steady shots. And the slider control isn’t great for most things but is very useful with the tone setting , which itself is a great feature. After a month I’m not totally sold but I do find myself using it more often.

To answer your question, I will summarize the thoughts of the speaker in this video. The speaker in this video is a long-time iPhone user who has been using iPhones since the very first one. He loves iPhones and the Apple ecosystem. He is so much of a fan that he has never used an Android phone. He is reviewing the iPhone 16 Pro Max after using it for a month. He thinks that it is a great phone, but he has some issues with it. He was wrong about the size of the phone. He thought it would be too big for him, but after a few days of use, he found that it was the perfect size. He also loves the battery life on this phone. It lasts all day and then some. He has not had any problems with the phone overheating. He thinks that the sound quality of the speakers is fantastic. He has not had any problems with the phone breaking up or anything like that. He highly recommends this phone for just good quality sound. He thinks that the USBC port is great because it can be used with an external SSD. He thinks that the charging on this phone is fantastic. He uses Chi charging and it is pretty darn fast. He thinks that the battery life on this phone is so good that charging speeds probably not even that important. He thinks that if you are just smart and you charge your phone at night it will last you more than enough time. He was totally wrong about the 6.9 in display. He thought it was going to be too big turns out it is not and you get used to whatever you use consistently. He has said that before with the screen you know 120 HZ versus 60 HZ uh you just get used to what you have and that is how your mind works your brain is very very powerful.
