Staying with the 14 Pro Max got it a couple weeks before the 15 came out. Am very happy with it. Been an awesome phone so far. Probably keep it will the 17 or 18. Plus has a 3 year plan at $11 a month. Was a heck of a good deal.

One suggestion if I may, instead of having a split screen when displaying an info piece how about just shrinking down your shot into a circle off to the bottom right, similar to how apples presentation mode functions, so you dont need to look away from the camera and affect the sound quality? everything else amazing work Matt!

It's hard to disagree with that. I've been a user of the iPhone 4 series, don't get me wrong. I love iPhones. but the changes we have now are minimal. Currently, I started watching the series Billions and they uses an iPhone 6/plus. I don't know, but I must admit that it was the most beautiful, stylish iPhone ever. not like now let's be honest, bricks.

It sounds impossible, but did you ever thinked why are you get the 6-8 years of updates? Because Apple want you to use the phone longer, and not change that frequently (yeah i understand your "but it's profit" view, but for them even the subscription base services are also make profit..) even if you use your phone for 6 years, and using just the Apple Mucis for $10/month it's $120/year and $720 extra money without a single phone selling.. so they are fine.. and most people also happy, because they don't need to waste money on phone. Also the 1.5 billion active users with 180-240million yearly sales, you must combine the past 8years sales to get this number.. so it's fine to only redesign the thing after 5-6 years since most user use the phone longer like just 1-2 years. (Similar like the iPhone mini, what was about only 4-5% of the total sales with 10million sales, ignore the 5% and favor the 95% instead of that 5%.. and they know which model we are use and how long we are use our phone.. they only need to redesign in that period when the average usually switching phone)

I can't believe we're getting the same old again, it's truly so very boring now. You know what I found this year particularly, looking at Xiaomi for instance with jealousy. Why can't my iPhone do that, there's no reason. The company is worth a trillion, there's no excuse not to give a great battery, super fast charging, super fast wireless charging etc. A nice software charge would also be refreshing, the same apps & rows for so long, we really need a little excitement. I doubt I'll upgrade to 16 Pro as looks no different what so ever. I regret upgrading to 15 Pro because of the phones that came later.

I’m curious to know what innovations have you seen from other mobile or computer hardware manufacturers in the last 5 years? Other than some novelty items like the folding phones, I don’t see a lot of current Samsung customers rushing to jump from the S22/23 to the 24. We literally have super computers in the palms of our hands these days and it’s going to take a lot for anything to feel like a significant improvement.

Persons who complain about the phones looking the same don’t know about value for your money. You don’t have to upgrade every year. I feel so good to have my 14 model and it’s still up to the time and I can hold on for the 17 and still resell my phone because it holds value. I have absolutely no problem with the phones looking similar. Once software, camera and storage is updated it’s fine. That’s my opinion!
