I love the Pitaka cases , but not having enough of a raised lip for the screen concerns me . Drops screen down might be a trip to the Apple Store

i just bought this case and opened it today... and I wanted not to love it due to the price... BUT man its good. My goal was to find a minimalist type case that didn't add too much bulk and slipped in and out of my small purse but didn't slip from my hand. This Pitaka slips in a purse easy, doesn't pick up lint and feels grippy enough in my hand. (I could not use the apple silicone case as it stuck going into my small purse and I was fighting with it.) However, I am concerned about the case not coming up around the glass protector enough. I have dropped my former iphones. I have traditionally used a speck case that has more bumper coverage in the front and corners. This Pitaka is just beautiful though and with the 16pro it's looks amazing. I hope I don't drop and regret. Any feedback as this review was a couple months ago. thanks!

There's enough blue in the Sunset that I actually like them both and would have a tough time choosing...if I were to actually get a 16PM. For now I'm sticking with my old 14PM.

I think I love the colour and the pattern of the Sunset Moonrise and also the protection that this case offers is superb in my opinion. That being said, I'm going to get this phone case for sure. Do you know if they offer a discount on these cases? Thanks in advance!!

I’m surprised that the lip is so shallow that a screen protector protrudes above the top edge; this was not true of last year’s equivalent model. Which screen protector were you using in your test? The current popular screen protectors range from .29mm (Belkin) all the way up to .71mm (Torras) thick, which may be enough to make the difference between lip and no lip showing on this case.

@@JeraldJamesCapaoit is really great! Glad I returned the apple silicon. It’s not even worth it. My Pitaka has top quality but it does not have enough lip to protect the screen. Unlike the 15 pro version that has enough lip.

Why not raise the case a little to protect the screen?! At least at the top and bottom. Military protection that exposes the screen totally unprotected LOL. Could be a perfect choice otherwise, that's sad.
