I have had many iPhones over the years.... the 4S, the 6, the 8 Plus, and the 12 Pro Max. I've never been unhappy or even unimpressed by a new iPhone. But for some reason, this 16 Pro Max has not been doing it for me. The battery life has not been as solid as I wanted. The unresponsive taps on the sides of the phone is UNACCEPTABLE. And I really was expecting the camera to be woooorlds better considering I jumped up four models and instead it's just "meh." I needed a new phone because my 12's battery was shot and there was no storage left. But for $1600 I expected more.

Had the same problems with my camera control button. Apple shout introduce a lock camera control while filming mode. For now im just using a gimbal

I deactivated the camera control for everything except for activating it. I do other adjustments on screen because it just works better!

I got the iPhone 13 recently and when I use it on charge it does get hot quickly. but good to know about the iPhone 16 pro max does not do that.

The AI not being able to work here in the EU was for me the biggest deal breaker to not upgrade. I don’t think the other things are worth that much money when you are not able to use the phone to it’s fullest potential

I thought I damaged my screen, but it turns out it’s just a thing with the 16 series. I assume from the new customization features on home screen. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.

The touch sensitive bug should be updated again in iOS 18.1 because I tried the RC for it and it seemed to not be bugging out while typing on the screen I didn’t use it long enough because my battery was draining way to fast after I updated so I downgraded back to IOS 18.0.1
