I bought the iPhone 16 pro max after the 12 pro. TBH not much has changed other than the cameras. If the camera isn’t that important to you, I’d skip the upgrade

@ well, im satisfied. I use my phone daily. And I saw it as an update for the future. I don't switch phones every year.so 16 Pro I'm gonna have for 4-5 years at least.

So far, the Apple AI is a far cry from the “generational leap” Apple claimed it will be. Frankly put, it’s just another “nice to have” iOS feature… All of the other improvements are negligible, really, as they are so minor (to none existent). Anyone who says otherwise is just nitpicking. I mean, what do I care if the 16 Pro has newer hardware if the experience remains the same?? A good-condition, 12 Pro literally feels like a new phone! Unless your 12 Pro has some issues, the price-reward ratio from upgrading to the 16 Pro is totally NOT worth it. You’ll be paying more than a $1,000 for a 1% of experience-improvement. Save your bucks.

Got the 12 pro since new. Battery needs replacing. I swear it feels like the camera has degraded since i've bought it. I'm uncertain about an upgrade to the 16 pro. What I want is a revolutionary upgrade to the cameras, whether its the lenses or the utilization of AI. I was disappointed by Apple Intelligence, it brought nothing valuable and sending my data off to ChatGPT is creepy and frankly not Apple-like. I have zero trust in the handling of privacy with OpenAI. I'm waiting to see if Apple plans to fully utilize AI, because at this point, it's a gimmick and a security risk. Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave. I really hope Apple is planning to do huge things with the AI, and this was just a rushed launch.
