+bademjon sertghy You would only have the loudspeaker to look into. However, if your device suffered any water damage then it may be be related to your logic board.

do you really have to get the battery out in order to replace the dock port? because it's said to be glued very hard to the phone. thank you

i tried replacing my iphone 5s dock port assembly and the audio jack, home button and touch id doesn't work, why does that happen?

The connector on the dock port for my home button it broke and half the teeth came off which I think is causing my home button not to work. I just ordered a new dock port, if I replace the dock port and not the home button will my touch ID function still work?

+Allen Levina Yes, the Touch ID will still function. Your home button assembly has this feature and replacing only the dock port will not affect this feature.
