Thanks for posting this. I noticed after I upgraded from an iPhone 4S to a 6 the battery life would drop 20% more than my 4S. Like if I leave my iPhone 4S on standby overnight it would only drain like 5%. But with my new 6 it would drain about 20% or more than my iPhone 4S. One thing I don't get ether is ehy certain apps other than map or weather apps need your location. The only things that really need your location is weather & map apps. I don't get why say for example calendars uses location services.

Slick Drew you too? I had no battery issues on the old 9. Whatever. I waited a few months to do 10. To give time to see what bugs their was and give them time to correct them. As soon as i updated ,bam horrible battery life. The only time i had issues before was playing world of tanks. Now its dying twice a day and does all kinds of crazy stuff. It will be 10% and plug up and in no time its a 50 60%!! I don't think its the battery cause it was fine till the update. Or do they just want us to buy a new 7? Their is also a horrible bug with magnifying websites. When you magnify or move the screen it jumps erratically all over the place.

I've been having a lot of battery issues. It takes sometimes 2 hours or more to fully charge and drains very quickly. It was at 100%. I watched an hour or so long video on FB of a live stream then noticed battery dropped to 38%. I have to charge my phone several times a day. It's ridiculous. This video was very helpful, I just wish you'd slow down a bit. I had to keep going back to try to keep up. Nevertheless, thank you so much!

When you upgrade an iOS on an older iPhone it acts weird cuz the Apple wants you to upgrade your phone aswell. For eg the iPhone 8 comes with iOS 11 but the 6 came with iOS 9 so if you just upgrade the iOS and not the phone the Apple wants you to have problems with your 6 so they can sell you the 8 . Why do you think they skipped the iPhone 9 ?? Cuz the Samsungs were getting ahead of them!!!btw, I’m an apple user but I never upgrade my iOS more than 1.0 version .

You can also go to settings-battery and turn on battery saver. It will dim the screen and temporarily disable automatic app refresh, mail fetch, etc. until it is over 80% and then turn it back off. Works great.
