Great video. After going step by step, I figured out my mistake. When reconnecting the flat black lego connectors, make sure they are in the correct order. The second and third one are very similar in size and it was as simple as adjusting how they laid on top of each other. Thanks again!

Hey! Good video! Well i have the same problem that when i turn my iphone on the screen doesn't light up. Once i restarted it it worked again but a little while later it stopped working again. So i think i will go to the store tomorrow to get a new screen, i have 1 year warranty

It's screen is damaged. It's too late. Try to perform a hard reset to see if you can fix the problem.

Some great tips. I have replaced a few older iphone screens before, and this looked easy. Although I had a little trouble with 1 of the 4 ribbon connectors. The lowest one closest towards the SIM card would not connect. So after taking a razor edge and gentally making sure the path was clear, as some plastic debris may have been in the way, it finally sat firm connected, BUT, the screen did not turn on. Not sure if the 6Plus vibrates at turn on, as it is not my phone, but it behaved as if it was dead. SO NOW, I have to try the cracked screen and see if it is the phone or new replacement screen. I'm replacing an iphone 6s LCD screen..I'm having trouble with the lil metal plate that has a lil black band .the band goes around another lil rectangular block doesnt reach..its can't stretch ..any tips would help

I find the replacement LCD for 6s has smaller black band. Just ignore it your LCD still works find even if it doesn't fit.
