It's been about a week now with my iPhone 6 plus...and I won't be going back to the Note 4 or anything Andriod for now. I love my iPhone 6plus. Big screens are in.. and this phone is great. Pics and videos are phenomenal. just dope.

I agree as well and as I watched this video I came to the same conclusion as you. It's funny how some of the same people who have loved their larger Android phones for years suddenly complain when Apple introduces the 6 Plus. "Large" has become an issue and a negative when it wasn't before. I was nervous when I jumped into the 6 Plus from a smaller phone but not anymore. I love it, I would never go back to a smaller device.

I have an iPhone 6+, and I'm absolutely loving it. Sure, it is a bit hard to type on one handedly, but for all the rest, it does everything better. Even though the bigger screen may not be utilized at its' full extent with split screens, Apps are still a lot easier to use because they appear larger; therefore making it easier to distinguish details and tapping more accurately on smaller objects. The 1080 P screen also makes huge difference when playing games or watching videos. I am now hoping that Apple will release an update that will incorporate split screen functionality at some point in the future. I also hope that some third-party company will follow Samsung's example in developing the oculus VR, and develop some third-party hardware that will allow for augmented reality usage with the bigger iPhone.

Let alone that people don't realize... Everyone has different hand sizes.... So when he says the bigger screen isn't small enough for one handed use... That all depends on how big your hands are and if your comfortable making small hand movements/adjustments to reach the top of the screen without having to use the iOS 8 function where you double tap the home button (not press) to move the top of the screen down closer to the bottom of the screen so you can reach it without adjusting your hand a little bit.... But that all depends on your own person way of using the device

i am an android guy and left my g3 for the 6 and now looking to get the 6+ because i miss my big screen…but all of the things he mentioned that the iPhone does not have can easily be added with an update i don't really see it as cons. and also they are features that me and many others don't really need. anyways that's just my opinion.

I'm still disappointed that Apple didn't take advantage of the 6 Plus and it's huge screen and add features exclusive to it that are actually useful like dual window multitasking and such. Every other phablet is just so far ahead that the 6 Plus just looks ugly with standard iOS.

Honestly, I really appreciate these videos giving a proper review of the product unlike other reviewers like David Pierce from the Verge just gushing over how great the iPhone is just because it's the new iPhone. I prefer Android and love my nexus 5 but it's good to keep an open mind about the latest products each company has to show off and you guys give the iPhone a truly fair review that showcases it without bias. And now we know why he wasn't able to detect any difference with the OIS. The iPhone 6 Plus only had OIS for still photos to help in low-light, NOT for video. Technically, Apple themselves only showed the example of OIS being used for photos in the original keynote, while telling us that the phones have "cinematic video stabilization" for videos. But the regular 6 Plus's stabilization for videos was entirely digital. Now when we get to the iPhone *6S* Plus… this phone *DID* have OIS for still photos *AND* video, and this is where the difference was really quite noticeable.

Brilliant as always Michael but I am let down that there was no battery usage comparison or at the very least a test of how long it takes to charge either the 6 or 6 plus from 0-100%. Although this may seem unimportant as almost every review out there doesn't I was nevertheless hoping for one here because charge time could be a great equalizer to a phone with average battery life.

After looking at both the 6 and 6+, I bought the 6. The + was just a gigantic phone. I have large hands, but couldn't envision having to lug the beast around with me. I agree with Michael's assessment that, If I didn't have a tablet, the + would be a maybe. The battery life in the 6 is acceptable but not what I really want. I'm happy with the increased screen on the six and the improvements to iOS since 7 was first introduced. Moved back to iOS from the Moto X. Thanks for the great review. As always, you're one of the best.

I bought the 6 (the day after it went on sale) and I'm glad I didn't get the Plus. I have always wanted a bigger iPhone, like maybe a 4.3" or 4.5" but nothing like 5.5", it's just too big. Then again I do have relatively small hands and find even the 6 to be clumsy at times, the Plus would be even worse. Also I liked how I could get 128GB for the same price as 64GB in the Plus.

I need help with this haha! I have Nexus 5 but I'm swapping for iPhone 6 or 6 Plus but I can't decide which. Overall I prefer the dimensions of the standard 6; I appreciate one handed phones and I dread how much the 6 Plus will bulge in pockets. In short, the 6 Plus is awkward. But despite that, the 6 Plus is clearly the better phone in many important ways and I like having the best phone. I don't want to pay a lot of money not to have the best of something... I'm a bit annoyed that the standard 6 isn't full HD (its 2015!) and coming from my Nexus 5, I like the sound of the 6 Plus having an apparent excellent battery life. The camera difference between the pair is so minimal it doesn't bother me too much. What to do? Go for the one that looks and feels the nicest (6) or go for the better phone? (6 Plus) I wish Apple made them identical bar the size, that why I'd be sure to go for the 6..

I'm on the verge of buying one of these two phones but I'm not sure which one I should get. I'd say my hand is average size and my current phone is the HTC Inspire, very old shit phone. I like android a lot but lately I've notice that all the extra features offered in android, I do not use. When I use my phone it's mostly for Media consumption. (KZbin, facebook, Reddit, News Websites.) I do enjoy playing games. I do not really care about the extra customization offered in android, but I do appreciate it. I really just one a phone that I can get on websites and apps, take many photos, not worry about it dying and able to take it anywhere. I'm leaning towards the Iphone 6+ just because of the battery life, but I"m not totally sure. Do you guys have any advice?

if you one-hand your phone a lot, or carry it in your pocket, I'd say get the 6. The 6 Plus is really only for people who absolutely 100% want the bigger screen and a better battery because they are literally the same phone. The whole bendgate thing is crap, but it's only common sense that the smaller one will be harder to bend, so there's that as well. I have an iPhone 5s, and the battery life is fine (usually lasts a day with moderate / relatively heavy use). The 6 is bigger than the 5s anyways, so I'm not sure the 6+ is really even worth it unless you REALLY want the big screen.

Michael as much as I like your style of making videos sometimes you disappoint me a little with the actual content. Don't worry I still love the videos and listen to weekly however Taylor's iPhone 6 plus video after one week use was spot on and accurate. Do not take my criticism as negative but I have to speak my mind and this is why comments are for. May be you might have called me jerk once already on pocketnow weekly when on your Z2 unboxing video I said that Michael you are too late as I have already unboxed my very own Z2 and in the very next weekly you were like "why don't we get some of these review devices early? Before some jerk says that I have unboxed it already". Not everyone needs the multi-window, S-Pen etc of Note 3 or half ass multi-tasking features of G3. I have owned those phones and I have never used those features. This argument seems little off to me as I have yet to meet a regular person using any of these features. Regarding the tablet argument yes it is relevant up to some extent but not 100% true as even people like myself who owns iPad Air does not take the tablets everywhere whereas the phone goes everywhere and believe it or not big screen experience does enhance the experience of using the phone. What good is the phone which does not provide enough mileage to you? With plus for once I can play games as long as I want without the fear that my phone would die on me soon. Not everyone like you needs one handed use over everything else. I wonder how you used to use your Note 2 with one hand. Not to mention that not only plus has higher PPI but also it has a proper full HD resolution and not some weird and half ass HD resolution. You might have not noticed but Apps are blown out on iPhone 6 as well although not as much as plus but they do not bother me as much although I agree that experience is not seem less at the moment but it does not take that long for things to go back normal. I have yet to come across an app that I use daily which is giving me any issues on 6+ except viber. Your photography reviews are mostly off so probably this is why you have not noticed more noise on 6+ Your comment on weekly podcast that iPhone 6 camera has not appeared anything special to you rather it is alright also suggest this. DXOmark is a very renowned name is reviewing professional cameras and they review phone cameras as well. Do check out their smartphone camera ranking which put iPhone 6 and 6+ on top spot and they do have mentioned that plus has better in terms of noise in low light photos. Some other KZbin reviews also suggest that. I have found similar things in case of some other handsets as well. I personally buy all these flagship phones on all three platform and I always have hand-on experience with them and I use them prolonged period of time not for usual 1-2 week that people use for the purpose of review.

I think it's funny when he complains only weeks after the iphones new sizes came out that the text on the being screen is pixelated or fuzzy... When that all depends on the websites creator... No the phone, sometimes the text is a picture instead of text... So don't blame the phone only a few days after it came out when things aren't even optimized yet alone updated for the screen sizes yet yet... And no the website you view won't show the same in the bigger iPhone as a similar sized screen android phone... It all depends on the browser and the creator of the website to what it's going to look like on devices

I got the iPhone 6 plus a few days ago and to be honest it's not as bad as people are saying it is. Yeah the screen size is a little big but if you use it for a few days it begins to feel normal in your hand. The only downside is that apps are not yet optimized for the larger and better display. The apps will be though it's just a matter of time then this thing will be amazing. Also bend gate is full of sh*t! ITS NOT GOING TO BEND PEOPLE!!! The people that bent their phones sat on them. Who the hell would sit on a $300 aluminum phone?! Don't hesitate to buy this phone it's great. Also if you just don't know which one you want yet go to BestBuy and get the phone they have a 2 week return so you can switch phones.
