Thank god Apple gave the 4K recording a decent bitrate. I was worried about it since they never mentioned the bit rate during the announcement (and didn't even list it in the specs as far as I could tell), but when you download the sample video off the site it's about 50 mbps. Still nothing compared to a proper video camera, but better than the smart phones that just shove in 4K that's compressed to hell. Also looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the usefulness and intuitiveness of 3D Touch, I think it could be the most innovative thing Apple's put into a phone since Touch ID.

+Egyptian Doctor That is a gross miscalculation. We don't know the compression of the 4K video yet but a 3 minute video will definitely smaller than 11 GB. Also the 16 GB model is not really intended to be used to shoot movies or very large videos on. Pony up for a 64 or 128 GB model.

However, people who are buying the iPhone for the primary reason of shooting video in 4k will most likely be fine spending the extra money on a higher GB phone. 16GB seems to be meant for the more casual user who does not make shooting 4k a primary focus, and prefers to stick to lower quality videos.

+Sharine W. Had mine for roughly 3 years now, never broken once. Quick tip, if your cable breaks in under a year since buying the phone take it in to Apple and you'll get a new cable for free. Regardless of that if you're really rough on the cable I suggest purchasing a 3rd party one meant to handle lots of wear and bending.

Sure iPhones are known to be pretty and people do view phones as accessories to show off, but I'm sure Samsung had it mind for its customers when they started to incorporate fancy designs such as all glass back, and curved edge screens. Many iphone users stick with apple because of familiarity with the OS and it's a really reliable phone for an average user. Similarly, there are android users who prefer more customisability within the OS and diversity of phone choices. Besides, high power ans specs for android is necessary because of the way android OS isn't as efficient as iOS.

Just bought the iPhone 6s Plus. I'm making the switching from Galaxy. I've had all the previous Notes but the 5 just didn't do it for me. I figured, if I want a built in battery and non expandable memory, might as well go with the iPhone. I'm going to test it for a week and see if I'll keep it. Eric Melendez The processor of the Galaxy S6 is the Samsung Exynos 7420 Octa Core (2.1Ghz + 1.5 Ghz), its not 1 super processor of 8 cores like many people think, the 2 processor alternates for a better power consumption device, so when the phone needs hard processing it uses the 2.1ghz, and the rest of the time if its not needed it uses the 1.5ghz processor (this can be change by activating or deactivating the save battery icon). In the benchmark I dont know if it uses the 8 cores, maybe a guy who is more in this stuff know; but I think that it only uses the 4 more powerfull cores. And the Iphone cores have always been really powerfull, thats why it always gives good benchmarks.

Got the iPhone 6, switched to Galaxy S5, and now I want the iPhone 6s... Can't make up my mind. >_< I got bored of iOS so I wanted to try android. But now that I have android, I look back at iOS and I feel like I want an iPhone again. It's elegant, smooth, lag-free, and everyone has the iPhone. But every time I play with the iPhone, there's really nothing to do on it. And I've had better experiences with battery life on android than iPhone. Still can't really decide which one I'd choose when it comes down to iOS and android.
