Thats not how currency works. Its worth around the same amount but in countrys with bad economy's, it will be more expensive compared to the income of the people. So basically its expensive in any country thats not the US, canada, uk, norway, switzerland, and australia.

My iPhone 5 has lasted me 3 years and is still going, even after I've cracked it (haven't gotten that fixed, I threw it several times, dropped it and it has viruses and still is holding up like its brand new. I ordered mine on Black Friday from my carrier but apparently they didn’t have a sale, but I still bought it. Since I live in Cali they charged me a 25 dollar fee, plus tax which was like 15 bucks and some cents. The phone itself costed 199. It was about 240 dollars. It’s pretty expensive in my opinion but I’m probably just poor hehe :P - also my carrier only had the color space gray, but I don’t mind. It hasn’t arrived yet, so I’m watching a bunch of videos on it to make it feel like it’s here xP
