Had a matte iPhone 7 Plus when it came out and it broke. Bought one in October 2019 the gold version this time and still have it today. One of my favorite phones I’ve ever had and I’ve also had an iPhone XS Max. I like the 7 Plus better. It’s just as fast and works just as well in my opinion and I have a 32GB with over 4,000 photos and vids. I love my phone.

Thanks for this video. This is my first iPhone...just switched from being a long-time Android user. A couple things...from your video I assume the camera has no manual shutter speed control? Do I need a third-party app for this? Also, my phone doesn't have any of the iCloud settings you show. "Summarize photos" is my top option.

Bobos Curse ProCamera would be your best option at the moment. I have to warn you, though. It's a freemium app where you have to pay to get some features that are included in other camera apps.

The default camera app is terrible for so many reasons. Having to go to the settings is ridiculous. What if you want to shoot something in 1080p and then back to 4K. You have to jump to settings twice. That alone makes it a deal breaker. There is also the focus point and exposure points being only the same spot. What if you want auto exposure to be on a different spot than the auto focus. It's so worth it to learn an app like filmic pro or ProCamera or ProCam. That would be the best tip, to use another app.

+Del Rei Yes, download a third party app such as "ProCamera" or "Obscura". They give you full manual functionality, and also utilize the 2x optical zoom feature on the iPhone 7 Plus.

It helps if an object is placed in front of the phone instead of staring at a plain screen.

There was an object placed in front of the phone. And the white background superbly helped get the point across of how the exposure adjustment works. It also helps to watch a video for longer than 15 seconds.
