For someone migrating from Android that wants an iPhone, large screen, touch ID. The only answer is the 8 plus. Because the X doesn't have touch ID and I find that to be very stupid. And buying the 7 plus is 20 dollars cheaper than the 8 plus if you consider storage, because buying an iPhone with less than 64 GB is like buying a rock, a very expensive rock. So yeah, iPhone 8 plus for me.

Jeremy Smith agreed. Looking at the exactly price to storage comparison - the iPhone 8 plus is £30 more expensive (256gb). You get all of that for £30 more than what you got when the 7 plus launched. Imo the cpu is the main reason for me to upgrade, plus I do not want to solely rely on face ID

You are right, I have used both operating systems for about three years now and i can honestly say that IOS always tries to bring me back to using an iphone because of its more reliable OS on the other hand I'm currently owning a Galaxy s7 edge and its doing good for a year and a half of daily heavy usage; but however theres so many things that i feel that are not well optimized in this android device sometimes the lag kills me and it does freeze for couple seconds and sometimes it restarts by its self. Although i really like these features that samsung trying to put on there devices and i truly wish Apple would step up their game and start implementing these features to its phones.

I have an s7. Fantastic phone, amazing display an camera but the battery drain by android is just too much. Add the updates by the carrier and Samsung and this is not the phone I bought at launch. After a year I lost more than 20% of my battery's health. I really want a note 8 but I feel I will regret it like it did with my s3 and bootloading g3. I feel like I'm downgrading but at the end, the iphones lack of stand by drain will be enough for me. Google needs to get their asses to fix that.

People don’t get it. By adding bigger battery’s that doesn’t solve anything. It’s all dependant on software and the efficiency of the processor. For example, sometimes when you update your IOS software you may find it losing more juice than previous version. By now you should understand. Once again read this again and it will make sense to you. Btw X uses less battery consumption. Uses pixels when needed.

The smaller battery might be because quick charging. When you charge a battery it expands a little because the heat. Quick charging heats the nattery more so it needs to expand more.

My wife has the i7 plus and i have the Samsung s8 Plus. We are constantly debating who's phone is better. Nothing really new under the Sun for the extra money if you ask me. The OLED screen on my s8 plus is really cool but side by side it's hard to tell the difference. I wish i had the speaker that the i7 Plus has but i like my camera much better. Make it 27 interesting things you probably didn't know that the iphone 8 plus can still do the landscape mode at the home screen unlike the iphone X cannot. Another is iphone 8 plus has still the larger viewing screen compared to iphone X even it has only 5.5 that is because the screen is much wider than the iphone X. I've made the right decision in buying the iphone 8 plus. My suggestion is better skip the iphone X instead and wait for another iphone to come.

I got the 8. I'm willing to pay more for the wireless charging. I can put on the charger each night and grab it in the morning fully charged. No fiddling with chords and plugs. I just could see that the X was that much better. To me, I could read the text on the the 8 better than the 8+ or the X. I have extremely crappy eyes so I don't think is true for most people.

I use a battery case on iphone 8 and it goes on for 3 days in moderate use. And that is just a WOW!

My I iPhone 8 chargers super fast. I put it on low power mode and keep it plugged it in for like 10-15 mins.

The iPhone 8plus cable is a lightening cable. You just have to buy a bigger box, but the cable it’s self is a lightening cable. I use my 10W iPad box and it charges it just as fast as a 33w box.

It chargers your phone way faster than the 5W brick charger, but still the speed is no comparison to the "fast charge" achieved through a 29W PD charger (and a usb-c to lightening cable).

Well, i disagree. I had iPhone 6s, great one, skipped 7 and went to 8 plus, some excellent improvements I got for a minimal difference to 7 and without wasting so much on X. Besides, we all can see how many bugs are still being solved for the X (iOS 11, hardware and apps), so next year might be a good choice the X when it’s all fixed and the price of course will be cheaper.

I haven’t noticed any difference in battery life it seems to last as long but 1 thing I will say 30 minuets of charging from 5% to 70% (with the chargers it came with) I have the 8+ btw

You say the iPhone 8 and 8 plus are too expensive because they received a price bump from last year's iPhone 7 and 7 plus models. In that comparison you show how last year's models started at 32 GB while this year's model starts at 64 GB. So you get double the ram for $50 more. However, you also point out that getting the new iPhone models in 64 GB is essentially like getting a 128 GB iPhone because of Apple's new technology. In that case according to what you are saying in the video it doesn't sound like the iPhone 8 and 8 plus are to expensive (when comparing it against previous iPhones). Sounds like a good deal.

Sometimes it's not bad, but it laggs and stutters a lot of the time, two of my requirements are stability and speed, the fact that I could spend all day playing around with preferences does not appeal to me ....lovely phone, but the software feels like beta software in my opinion..

8 plus was so worth it. Personally I find it more convenient and practical.
