didnt mention there are 2 hooks that at the side of camera and you have to slide down alone the case for about 1 mm in order not brake then.

Would be perfect if you did this before. Didn't mention the delicate screen ribbon cable that going in with the metal pry device a little to far mean sudden death for the phone. I didn't need this tutorial any longer since I killed my phone with one swipe of my prying tool. I've done a lot of battery replacements on other phones and tablets. Simmon does a lot of little things that he doesn't actually describe what he's doing.

eBay has both the seal for the glass and the adhesive for the battery. Type in for for both in the search bar and one listing comes up that has a set.. I just ordered it for $3.29 I think 👌. I wasn’t aware the iPhone 8plus was waterproof lol I’ve had mine for about 4 years thinking it wasn’t 😂

The instructions for my battery says that it may help to apply some heat to soften the adhesive, if the elastic adhesive breaks while removing it.
