Nope. That's all in one, speaker, ear front cam and sensors so you will not be able to talk, only on speakerphone.

He removed the flex cable before disconnected the battery which I do nor recomend. Remove the bottom first before and disconnect the batter with is just next to the digitizer. Then disconnect the screen. Just to make sure it doesnt fry your screen. Not likely to happen but it can.

Been better if it was actually replacing the cable. A new cable comes flat, not pre-formed. The video helped with knowing where portions of the cable fold/run, which is what I was after as the old cable I was replacing (from a screen fracturing event) has disappeared (waited 2 days for a new cable that was supposed to be overnighted). But this video in truth is more a removal and reinstallation than replacement.
