iPhone 8 wont turn on - the fix

I see this all too often with the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 plus models. There is something you can try before running down to Apple or your local repairer. Please note - this does NOT always work however about 80% of the time when a customer brings their phone in it is successful.
The whole idea is to narrow down what the exact issue is.

VvAsianvV it was on charger all night I put it on my wireless charger and it responded so I knew it wasn’t completely dead so I left it for a couple days and it turned on and yeah it was just a black screen

Nice video! Guess it helped a lot of people so far. While watching this I was kind of expecting you to say 'try wireless charging if you have one laying around', if it works wirelessly, the charging port is most likely faulty.

I've tried this method many times. I've had no luck :( before it died it was around 5% battery so I plugged it in (it showed it was charging) and left it for around 40 mins. when I came back it wouldn't turn on. I've changed chargers and used different power sources but so far nothing. Do you think I should try and get it fixed and spend that money or just spend money and get a newer iPhone?

The up down on cheat code works, its just instead of just taking your time to click each button for my Iphone 8 i have to be as fast as possible in terms of clicking each button.

this did not work for my iphone8 plus. My phone started to become static when I touched the top screen at random (no noise) then I turned my phone off and just went to bed hoping it was temporary. The next morning it started to static a lot and turned off randomly so I completely turned it off for about 20-30 seconds and it would not turn on anymore.
