well i'm 34 years old and I AM going to japan! thats what i want and don't care a bit how old i am. a dream or desire its about trying to make it real. so if u wanna go there dont bother yourself thinking about ur age. if all goes well i'll be there this next october >___< but everything will be thanks to gogonihon :)

I am so jealous of him in almost every way, he is so lucky! First of all he he is English and has a cool accent, he is tall and handsome(no homo), lives in Japan, and is making video games. I tried convincing my parents to let me go study in Japan at a language school but they don't take it seriously and told me I must stay in the U.S(I don't like it here at all). They don't think these language schools are proper schools told me that I must go to a university here like the rest of my family :(

That's what I'm going to do since I can't go to a language school. My problem with it though is that while I'm there at a study abroad program I'm afraid I'll be around other English speakers from my university and will keep using English. Language schools attract people from everywhere, thus making Japanese the mutual language. Plus in order to find a non English teaching job in Japan I'd need a Japanese degree which is possible to obtain after transferring from a language school.

:D i'm studying in an animation and games design course and i'm taking Japanese lessons ( sadly they can't do the exam part in my Japanese course) i was thinking about going to study in japan after finishing my 2 year course in animation and games design but i don't have a single clue on where to study and what grades i need...

I feel the same bro. I am scrambling to get my additional documentation in. I can't find my diploma from HS and I am freaking out. Hopefully I will get it in though, and then my dream will too become a reality.

Just go study japanese at university, im sure u can find the motivation for that. Then u wont need a language school, ul become fluent in japanese and get to do a year abroad there ^^ hows that?
