It has to do with the Software updates on the iPhone and the software check on the power adapter you dumbfuck....Before calling people stupid or dumb fucks. Make sure you did your reading, crossed the T's, dotted the I's and you carried the 1. Cause 2+2=5...thats how fucking dumb you sounded.

I have been playing with my charging cable position for about a month because the Iphone 6 kept clicking in and out of charging. Sounds like faulty battery. If you have apple care they will replace it. Go to settings and I think in general there is battery health percentage.

I pressed the button immediately before inserting the usb cord and quickly pull up on the usb cable (on base near the port) . Don't be afraid to try a lot, because the first or second time it just works. Prior to that I was jerking the cable hard, up and down and wrapping the cord around the phone when it turned to green to make sure it would stay green long enough to charge. And before you do it the right way as described in the video, you might want to poke the around the holes for debris, just in case that's enough. But after that don't worry about damaging your phone if your desperate like I was. My phone took a beating! I can't see any use in buying a new iphone 8 and I can't afford it.

Here’s how I fixed mine. I took a toothpick and dipped it in rubbing alcohol, then tried to clean my charging port that way. The alcohol helps stink to the debris. Hoped this helped.

This also could happen if the iPhone builds up dust in the charging dock so blow it out or get a cotton swab and take it out but don’t push it further it gets worse then. It works about 75% of the time.Also if your sound. Quality is bad probably bc that has a lot of dust in it. I recommend a case that covers the charging dock but still makes it accessible

It seems important since none of the more traditional methods worked.... and that is the thing that finally worked but you dont show us where the phone was squeezed.... or how hard... how much force? and for how long was the phone squeezed near the home button? The whole time your vid just shows charging port - it would have been much much better if during the video section where you talk about what actually worked, you also showed video of what the technician did and give details about exactly where, how hard to squeeze, for how long did he squeeze, did it work right away? did he have to try that several times till it worked? would be nice to know these things....

I used a toothpick to unplug gunk from the spring on the left side and it worked. (I wouldn’t recommend using the same technique. You don’t wan’t to bust any of the inner workings of the charger port. Almost every time you jam something in your charger port especially something that isn’t meant to be plugged into the iPhone, it effects the device’s usability in some way.)

I use a clip, bent to the right angle, to clean the charging port. There was stubborn dirt stuck inside at the corner that i have to push really hard to get it off. IMPORTANT: 1 Turn your phone off while doing this if the clip you are using is metal, use plastic to clean after this before your turn on to make sure you ground the charging port. 2 Don't push hard on the top and bottom side of the charging port, only to the corner and the back, where the dirt is most likely stuck on and has no connection metal there.

@@levibrousseau7608 i just pressed under my home button for like 2 min while the charger was in... make sure you don’t press too hard though coz you’ll fuck it up, and i bought a new charger now so no more problems

@@BaebiezK yeah I’ll try that if it happens again. I just had to press the home button and push the charger towards the top, then use the original charger and cube and it works fine now
