Call me crazy: I currently using this new SE over my 13 Pro Max. And I’m loving it! I love this form factor! If I could ask 1 more thing: was to have my 13 Pro battery life and it would be my perfect phone!

And I must say I’m very surprised positively with my battery life! I’ve disable 5G and made some adjustments on location services and the battery serves me all day leaving around 25% when I put in the charger every night!

Me too! I switched over from my 11 pro and it has been an absolute bliss to use the SE. It feels great to be able to go back to using something so small and light. It feels almost like a toy compared to other higher-end Iphone but it works just as good and amazingly fast. For me it‘s the perfect phone :)

I got an SE third generation to replace my SE first generation. Love this phone, mainly because of its size. I have no interest in something that won't fit comfortably in my pocket. The A15 chip is a huge bonus.

I recently upgraded from the 12 mini to the 13. I didn’t care for the 13, too heavy for me personally. So 1 week ago I got the iPhone SE 3rd Gen, it basically has the same internal stuff as the 13 minus a few things. I love the smaller, lighter, old school body of the SE Gen 3. I don’t need all the bells and whistles. I will say after the nostalgia of the 12 mini wore off, I absolutely hated it. The battery life was awful.

As someone who has had an iPhone since the very first release and stupidly upgraded every year, as well as recently always having the Pro models, I can tell you one thing, this phone is Great. I have and iPad Pro, Airpods Pro, MacBook Pro and was going to upgrade to the iPhone 13 pro from the 12. until this model came out. I bought it to see what all the hype was about and realized something. the money I've been wasting on Apple Products for so long has been futile. this Phone is perfect. not too heavy. has the speed and functionality of the 12 pro i just came from and better still, hasn't cost a fortune. I've never used half of the ability of the Pro models and I will never waste my money buying a Pro Model iPhone again.

Loved the phone when I bought it but due to battery life still being a problem I returned it after one week. It does not last 8 hours and I am a basic user, email, calls, text, web browse. It’s a great phone I prefer the home button but if it can’t last a full day it’s no use to me as I can’t always chase down a way to recharge it. I purchased the IPhone 11 new instead traded in my IPhone 8 Plus so the 11 cost me the same as this new SE.

I currently have the iPhone 12 and I’m considering getting this model in 128gb + I miss Touch ID, don’t use my phone that much anymore. No socials, no games, no need for multiple cameras, etc. plus, it’s smaller, great internals and will be a good phone for years to come even in late 2023 plus I have old Apple Smart Battery Case from iPhone 7 that Apple no longer makes. So, win-win.

Hi Miguel, in that case, with your limited SOT, the SE 2022 seems to be the candidate for you, especially if you like the design. It is cost effective, is built for longevity and has many of the up to date Apple assets.

Hi Bruno, the differences between the two are not big enough to warrant an upgrade. If you are not using 5G I do not foresee any improvement. The biggest difference would be the new, much more powerful processor and improved cameras

I bought my current iPhone XR back in January 2019, it was my first full screen Face ID iPhone ever and I have loved the change from Touch ID. However, I have been wanting to change back to the old design and Touch ID since the SE 3 was released. Would you consider going from the XR to the SE 3 as an upgrade? My XR is still physically in great condition and I don’t really notice any sluggishness in general when using it. The only thing giving out is the battery since I’ve never had it replaced since I bought it. Am I blinded by nostalgia and the novelty of the SE or should I upgrade? Also this is not a very common problem since identical twins aren’t that common but I am an identical twin and Face ID can’t tell the difference between me and my twin when we unlock each other’s phones, so that’s a personal downside to Face ID for me. What’s your opinions?

Hi, thank you for your comment. The SE 3 has a great camera + processor, but has smaller display and battery is not the best (so purchase a battery pack as well). I have a separate video from Iphone 13 switching to SE3 which might be useful

Hi Numlox, I think the SE 2022 is a great Iphone to start with if it is your first Iphone. It has many familiar designs like Touch ID and also the latest Apple processor that will last for years to come. The phone is rather smooth. The battery life is not its best asset, but if you bring a power pack you should be fine. In addition the camera is quite good for its price

Better. A15 is efficient, plus lower resolution screen and limited features conserve the battery of the SE 3 battery more then the 12 mini.

@@DionMedia I guess because I am trying to use my phone less and ended up getting a bigger screen with 120hz which makes it nicer to use. I've never used an old school iPhone without gesture navigation so I think you may be right. Probably best holding up and maybe trying to pick up the 13 mini once the 14 launches. But then on the other hand gesture navigation makes it a breeze to flick through everything maybe something like the se would be better for digital downtime. Don't know. Thanks for replying
