Why hold your finger to open a link in Safari when you can tap with two fingers to open it directly in the background? ;) I admit though, it takes a while to master when hyperlinks are tiny. The little “tab” button will shake once the link is opened in the background as a little visual aid.

For text replacements I just use letters of the word or phrases without vowels...mostly 3-4 letters. Example. My name has shortcut of nm. My home address has shortcut of hm. My gmail account has shortcut of gml. My iphone number has shortcut of phn. By using only consonant letters, I avoid going to numbers and signs in keyboard. And I also avoid forgetting the shortcut, and avoid getting text replacement suggestions when Im typing real words.

alternatively, you can select a [something] and pinch with three fingers to copy. to paste you just gotta unpinch (spread three fingers) to paste there are more actions but these the ones i remember from their keynote.
